Commander Ji, I hate he's so annoying. But, honestly he represents the typical worker. In a sense to work enough to complete the task and to hand it to the boss.

There's no love triangle in this. 2ml has no romance with fl, they do have great chemistry onscreen, but he treats her like a sister. He's definitely simping on her as a brother would to a sister. I think his character is written so well, his background history and character development is done very excellent.

Period/fantasy dramas tend to do that for decades, and they don't need to change. I like that effect.

Actually, I think he's still a virgin and haven't done it with NA at all.

Eh, I feel like a good actor and a good script shouldn’t be judged by whether there are passionate kissing scenes. Those are just bonuses, not the foundation.

The romance in this drama isn’t about physical intimacy. It’s about devotion and sacrifice, the kind where one is willing to give everything for the other.

I want better kisses too, it's not up to the actors but the director. Unfortunately, I don't think we will get the passionate kisses we want. The director is going the PG 14 route. First kiss xy was unconscious in the water so that made sense, 2nd kiss, xy was kind of trying to console hy, 3rd kiss xy is frozen in time so there's no way for a passionate kiss and she's not even conscious. Ugh!!!

She became like this bc her lover deceived her, and ironically she deceived Taoshe, and the god beast waited 1000years for her to return. When she found out, and knowing Taoshe never hated her for it, she finally got a resolution and gave up on the hate, and also her goal to return to heaven. Also, Taoshe had 1000yr limit, or else he prob would stay forever waiting for her. What I like is that it's friendship this time that resolved it, not the cliche love

First lifetime: HY is a demon and has memories of 2nd timeline, while XY has no memories bc it's her first time meeting HY

2nd lifetime: XY has memories of first life as Ningan (Princess), while HY met Ningan and has no memories of first lifetime

3rd lifetime: white haired XY with memory of first and 2nd lifetime, while HY is human prince with no memory.

Her crying made me cry. I'm surprised she relented and gave up on finding the spring water after all these years

I liked that scene too, she took the words out of my mouth haha. but she was drunk, this time on the boat she's conscience. I just love her shamelessness and hy is just shocked, shy and then doting. Who wouldn't want a husband that's hy.

I love how the writer/director made certain scenes so realistic, doesn't play the audience as fool. Instead of arriving to land in a day, it takes both xy and hy more than 2D2N to get across the sea, and hy has blisters from rowing the boat.

Omg, i love xy's shamelessness haha. She's not shy at all joking and complimenting Hy's handsome appearance. I think my fave ep so far is ep 19!

So GOOD!!! I cried multiple times and felt heart broken, and then giddy like a school girl in the following ep. Sigh, finally.

This is what I want to see and expected to see in the romance. The interaction is so natural and comforting to see. Xy twirling Hy's hair and saying good morning.

I'm curious, do you know the actress playing that Immortal character? If you know her then you will understand haha. With her status she wouldn't and shouldn't be listed as a supporting role
