wow I didn't expect this to be so low budget, like the cameraman's shaky hand, bad panning, bad composition pff bahaha not something you see everyday, I just started, I love the acting though, kinda goofy but it has it's charm, very different from the anime so far, curious how it's gonna go.
omg it's really them... took me 2 episodes. good news is that they are acting better now, but I'm really not sure if these 2 series had to be connected, because they were pretty cringe in the old one I think TTvTT I wish they could just start fresh without forcing me to remember.
okay, it's very random sorry, but does anyone know if the actor who plays You had any heavy plastic surgeries? because his face really looks like he did and I can't take him seriously because of it... like I don't want to be mean but he looks like if plastic surgery was a person, just his looks give off a really unnatural vibe to me that clashes with his character.

Yeah, the situation is too serious, and they don't act like it. Like they had the lightest reaction to the bodies hanging from a tree, that's like super messed up and not at all normal, yet they were like, "yep, just another case, kinda creepy but whatevs." Spare me your mercy is on my watchlist and I have higher hopes for it, as it is a shorter show and that's always a good sign, but it's gonna take a while to start a new thai show, as I'm tired of disappointment. Your comment gives me some hope though.

At first I liked him, because I realized even if the actors are not very good, acting scared seems to be an easier emotion to make, and I think he nailed it well and it worked okay for me. And then I realized that when he is not acting scared, he is... not... acting, like at all, just blankly looking at the other characters. And yes, he has a pretty face, but that's not enough for me to keep looking at wood acting. If you only watch thai shows, I think you'd definitely find this show a step-up, the production in higher budget, the camerawork, mic quality is better than in a lot of other shows, and they tried to put some actual plot into it, which is also not very common in the thai bl genre, so if you are coming from this world, I understand, and I do appriciate that they tried something different, but it's still a very very low effort, small step into the right direction.

I think you misunderstood, I wasn't looking for a police show, I wanted to see a good romance with a plot, just how the show was advertising itself. I was hoping that maybe if a thai show had a driving plot, the writing would be better between the characters. Was not=hence the disappointment. There are very good, solid cutesy k/j-bls, with not much plot, it's totally fine to make something kinda cheesy in the romance genre, I love it a lot, it's totally possible to make a fluffy romance very enjoyable and have entertaining conversations about sweet nothings without it being EXTREMELY boring, I just haven't yet met anything like that in thai bls.
pretty sure someone said it in the comments that the focus was too much on the story and less on the romance. pffft that was a LIE. that I believed and it made me hopeful that it's gonna be different from the other slow paced, nothing happens, guys looking at each other and talk about nothing thai bl dramas, and even though it started out interesting, like for an episode or two the story was indeed more in the focus, and that also gave the characters more depth, and to actually talk about something of relevance while getting closer to each other, now I'm at ep6 and it feels like that direction has been heavily abandoned... back to being boring thai bl stuff, started skipping those scenes, because the acting in them is so weak, and there is just such a nothing burger for them to talk about that it's sooooo boring omg. I swear these writers always think that people get to know each other just buy talking about - "have you eaten yet?" - "what do you want to eat?" - "are you okay?" and the variations of these a million times... ugh. SO BORING! I liked the premise, but the execution is the same old formula from what I've seen, and I can't put up with it any longer. Also makes the whole thing less believable when the police+coroner team is full of young, pretty boys, with heavy makeup, and some having the usual plastic surgery face. I keep giving thai bl a chance when I see something with somewhat of a different concept than soft prn, but I always end up disappointed... blessed be the day when I ever stumble upon a decent thai bl drama.
(he is a good actor tho, just really popular I guess?)
