Title Call It Love
Kdramas are strange,

Cheating men always get thrashed, abused and publicly humiliated.
Cheating women in these same dramas are never made to go through any of that. Instead the drama will pretend what they did was like over cooking a beef stake and not that serious.

By Kdramas standards, the ML should have beaten the crap out of his ex who cheated on him, abused her and trashed her image.
but the men in these dramas are so pathetic, the ML just cries in a corner like a wimp.

the men in these dramas need to learn from the women in the same dramas in how to deal with cheaters.

Problem with Kdramas is that when women cheat, the 'understanding' and flawed nature are talked about. When men…
in 'strangers again', the ML was abused while married, fakes cheating and is constantly physically and verbally abused by his ex-wife.
in 'crash course in romance', one of the supporting character, who is a horrible women, the husband cheats and gets thrashed and abused by the wife.
in 'Brain works', the ML's wife repeatedly cheats on him with other men. The ML thrashes the guy his wife is cheating with but does not get angry at his wife, ever. I really did not understand why he had to thrash the guy who his wife was having an affair with. If there was anyone who needed a thrashing, it would have been his wife and not the guy who may or not know she was single and shagged her.

in every kdrama, the cheating man is always thrashed.
in every Kdrama, the cheating woman is always justified or sympathized,

I'm prepared to get roasted because a lot of MDL commenters have very strong views regards affairs. Anyway, I…
Problem with Kdramas is that when women cheat, the 'understanding' and flawed nature are talked about.

When men cheat, they are always beaten, abused and their dignity trampled on.

In every recent drama where a man is shown as cheating, that bloke was thrashed and abused by his wife.
Whenever the reverse happens, the wife who cheated, the drama always asks the viewers to understand and be compassionate.

is this a happy or sad ending ?
in Ep 1, the FL abuses and thrashes the ML, repeatedly.
Really doubt there can be any happy ending from there on.

Imagine if the FL was physically thrashed by ML in ep1, would we be asking if they have a happy ending?

I think it's suitable, her face is still cute even though she is over 30 years old, she has a younger face than…
Nothing on the actress, she is doing her job well.

Just the character, it's the same cute type FL rather than some one more polished and dignified, like the ML friend who joins show later on.

Novelist having the FL this kind of FL does not change my point.

I would have preferred a more mature behaved FL in this drama.

She is cute but she definitely looks her age, especially close up.
Even from far, she looks like ML's much older sister.
Well, a very beautiful older sister.

besides, thats not the main point.
These kinds of dramas have FL's playing these kinds of cute, outspoken and friendly etc etc women.
Why not have a dignified FL who acts her age for once?

The story is interesting and for a change ML is interesting.

The FL though is boring.
The same clownish girl we see repeated in most Cdramas.
The actress is too old to play such clownish girl character. It was just awkwardly odd watching her portray that kind of FL.

So many crazy mothers in the drama.

Why are there no crazy fathers? Are fathers not that invested in their kids grades in Korea?
Some of the mothers are frighteningly crazy in the drama, I would have thought they would show a father doing similar things.

Is this social phenomenon real and reflection of how some mothers go too far in Korea for their kids future?

Title A Love So Romantic Spoiler
I have never laughed so much in my life at some of the comments about this drama. First calling the FL. a slut.…
Very true.
Biden Jr shagged his sister in law minutes after his brother died.

What's the big deal in shagging your siblings ex's?

Next time Cdramas should be more edgy where the ML breaks up with FL starts shagging her mother.
I mean, nothing wrong if both parties are single and care for each other - right?

So he remained gutless/spineless until the end. Hopefully the FL can truly move on now as he never once showed…
You are pretty much victim shaming.
I hope you won't say similar things if it were a woman trying to escape from a control freak of a husband.
Not every person is brave. People in abusive relations run and hide. In fact there are laws in most countries to make this happen.
Being gutless/spineless is not something to be ashamed off. being a control freak with no concern for how your partner is feeling....that is a problem.

Title Strangers Again Spoiler
So I don’t want to say it was a waste of 12hrs because I enjoyed some of it but all this really was a couple…
Most men in Kdramas and Cdramas are cucked.
The only good men in these dramas are the men who are cucked.

Any man having little spine is basically bad or undeserving of even the crappiest women in the drama.
These dramas would never show reverse where the man is cheating or having multiple partners and the women being fine with it.

Like the FL says, cheating men must die but when her own friend cheats, she is no where as angry.
In these dramas, sex and sexual feelings are only for women. Men, especially good ones, only fall in love once in their life and never waver.

What did she do wrong? She didn't do anything wrong he did, basically he doesn't know what he wants and she does…
Are we seriously watching the same drama?

The FL is an abusive, manipulative and arrogant person.
ML is a complete wimp who can't even stand up for himself and the FL walks all over him.

Title Binary Love
My heart hurts for Wen Tao. I dont find him annoying. I think he was just as devoted to Lin Lin as Yu Ke.
Just imagine if there was a female who was always trying to get into ML pants, even in front of the FL.
She could be very caring about the ML and even though ML and FL are together, she will keep interfering in their lives, trying to win over ML and force herself between them, forcing herself on ML physically....

Would your heart hurt for that woman too?

Well he stayed in seclusion for that long and only had that one guy as company so I imagine nothing happened.
I know and It's pretty much implied at that point when we learn about seclusion. No need for anyone to explicitly state it.
Not really sure why the writers needed to add that, unless the ML has the capability to get it on with the trees and stuff there.

FL's therapy for her daddy issues is hilarious. When her dad walks in on her therapy session, it was just magical.

our ML who trained in solitude for 1500 and remained chaste. Wait, chaste? What's with Cdramas obsession with their ML's chastity? or is it just the subtitles being crap?

This pretty much delivered what it promised.
One of the best choreographed action sequences.

Thank god the romance was pretty much a minor sub plot.

This drama has one of the best MLs in k-drama land.
Even the FL is very good.
for all her trauma, she was able to love ML whole-hardheartedly. which is surprisingly rare in Kdramas where most FL's are very shallow.
