This is what I expect from a romcom, a lot of romance and comedy with bit of angst sprinkled in.
There were minor character inconsistencies with the FL, she goes from a girl madly in love with ML to doubting her feelings for ML midway through - may be the subs were not good but the explanation was not that convincing.
It was minor though and the drama was fantastic for it's genre. Fantastic chemistry, good looking leads and enough comedy.
So, the ex of the ML cheated on him with another guy, married the guy, had couple kids, cheated on her husband, getting divorced & then she is behaving with the ML as if she is entitled to have him.
Does the ML look that much of a pansy to this woman that she expects she is entitled to have him take care of her and her kids after the shit she put him through?
Had a different take. Was he harsh, yes. He was no where near awful. We are talking as if that girl who killed herself…
on an emotional level I agree with you but as a capitalist with investments, I shudder..
What ever the ML did, they were not criminal. hence why I empathize with the 3 secretaries and ML having to face what he did to them.
The 2 ladies who stole, whatever their circumstances, they are pretty much victims of their own actions. While we can sympathize with why they did it, we should also look at it objectively. The ML has no reason to forgive them and is entitled to take whatever actions legally possible. If the girl was afraid of the consequences of her criminal action and killed herself, it's only and only her fault.
Let us for a moment imagine if perpetrator or a crime were to kill themselves due to victim threatening them with consequences....

That's capitalism 101. every organization exists to make profits by competing to provide the best service/material to it's consumers.
Any industrial espionage or stealing from organization does not result in a victimless crime. There are victims, a large number of them. An organization not doing well or closing down due to espionage results in employees being affected, potential employees not being hired. In case of a public company, the shareholders, including relatively not rich who bought the shares suffering financially.
There is nothing in this world that is a victimless crime.
Coming to these woman who stole, if things did go south, it would have resulted in this company not doing well, affecting students from getting best possible education. Layoffs from the cleaners to the guards to other employees in the company. the ML practically built the company from zero. And from what we know, he has been providing quality service to students for years. Him going down means potential students not getting best possible service.

Just like how robbing a bank is not a big deal since you are stealing from a big corporation making profits.
It's not just the study guides. This is work of a team who have put in lot of efforts. It's about that teams capability to provide quality service to students because of this stealing. Sometimes it's difficult to imagine the impact of a crime, just like here because it's just stealing a study guide, which is assumed to have no negative impact on anyone - in this case there were victims, multiples of them.
Stealing 1000 dollars may not seem much. but what if it stolen from some one who would have to drop out of college because of money? Or from some who has to pay hospital bills?
Many times the crime may seem small but the impact on victims is not really thought of.
Don't see how it's harassment if the victim want's to make the perpetrator suffer for a crime they committed. There is a simple solution to it. Stop doing the crime and it was a crime when all said and done.
Yeah, ML was pretty harsh, Give you that. The drama has all but established that he is not a great guy, expect for people he thinks are his. But these women are not victims, they did a crime.
The only victims as far as i can see are his secretaries. He was very indifferent to them and did not respect them.
I KNEW IT!! I called it from the very start!! but I'm still in awe... Noh Go-jin really is an awful human being…
Had a different take.
Was he harsh, yes. He was no where near awful.
We are talking as if that girl who killed herself is an innocent lamb.
her actions would have destroyed countless children's lives. Whatever her reason, she had no right to harm students by doing what she did. Just because her victims don't have faces does not mean there were no victims.
ML is right in calling her out. That woman has no business teaching children.
Same goes for the teacher who leaked the book. These 2 women, to solve their own issues did not blink to harm others. To say the ML was harsh to these women is an understatement. They should be in jail and never be allowed to be teach.
Do you think, How to portray charismatic and cool character? The FL's character is cheeky and it really suits…
Kings Avatar was a blast, probably the best of it's genre. Having zero romance in that drama was the best thing that ever happened to it.
in YAMG, i liked those slow middle few episodes. It was where the ML was reflecting on lot of things and when he eventually decides to be with FL, you are convinced that he is all in and really loved the FL.
Her brother was on the road at night in rain.
If anyone was at fault, it would be her brother.
The ML and his cousin are responsible for not reporting though.
Accidental falling always leads to a kiss.
Even when you are traveling on foot for weeks, haven't taken bath, brushed teeth or taken crapper, you still look like a million bucks.
The ML only touches himself when he pees and shakes it only once.
This is what I expect from a romcom, a lot of romance and comedy with bit of angst sprinkled in.

The characters are being set up very nicely & the chemistry between leads is very good.
the bromance was better than what it was in the webtoon.
This is my kind of romance drama though.
Although the kisses and hugs are awesome, it's these subtle scenes that make any drama likable for me. They just scream at you in a good way.
the internal conflict of the FL.
She had a tough choice, choose to eat the delicious food Or meet the guy she is starting to like.
Why would a girl being sexually attracted to a guy be so bad?
In this one she likes the guy and seems to be going after him with all gutso.
I say good for her.
At least she is not like many Cdrama FL who have a harem and seem to be enjoy it.
but as a capitalist with investments, I shudder..

Still think there are no victims of these crimes?

Watched few dramas of FL, except for one, rest were mixed bag for me.
In this drama, her character is top notch.
regarding the ML character, it's not bad but I want to see more range of emotions by the end of the drama.
ML is not bad but his character comes across as bit bland.
Does this change in later episodes?
