This is as far from slice of life as Marvel movies are.

This started off very well but quickly turned into typical cdrama garbage.
Many actually liking it does not change my opinion of this garbage.

It's easy to guess what will happen from here on.

She is not thinking about risk or reward, it's a statement regarding the nature of life and love.
If you are unwilling to put yourself out there in both cases, don't expect the reward.

the FL in her career has put herself out there and is reaping the rewards.
So, I expected her to take the risk when it came to love, goes with how she is shown in the drama.

ML is honest with himself, his feelings are changing as he is not that teenager anymore who fell in love.
It's like saying the FL is not honest with herself because she is going to dinners and movies with the guy she liked in uni.

One has not realized what he wants, the other kind of knows she likes the guy but does not want to risk it.
The expectation seems to be, ML realizes, chases, confesses etc etc, while the FL will just be doing nothing except choosing the guy - that seems lame.

For those unwilling to take the risks, they should not be expecting the rewards as well.
if FL only contribution is to say 'yes' to one amongst her suitors, it is pretty pathetic.

Well, that's cowardly.

Don't get me wrong, most cdrama FL are like that. They rarely risk their hearts by confessing. No risk but want the rewards.

That's exactly how it's going to happen.
2ML will be present until the end to keep making the ML jealous.

FL started getting strong & I thought she would confess to the ML.
Was a bit disappointed when that did not happen.
She was not willing to risk putting herself out there and confess. With her character growth, that would seem logical with the risk and reward theme of drama in investing.

Alas, she is like most other cdrama FL. Will not risk her heart but wants all rewards of love.

Why is the ML behaving like high school kid who lost a girl to another guy?

It was a comment on how people are reacting to 2ML when compared to 2FL.

Story so far is fine though.

Hopefully they don't make monkey out of the FL, which is usually the case when it comes to 2ML - he invariably ends up making the FL look pathetic by making her fall for his lies and schemes.
As long as the FL stays smart and strong...

If this place represents the larger opinions of these drama viewers, it's easy to see why the drama makers make the ML have as little contact other women as possible in Cdramas.

Looks like the viewers want a ML that is exclusively into FL and don't want to look at other women, while they want the FL to keep her options open.

FL dates other guy to make ML jealous.

Yeah, since she got hurt,

She MUST hurt the guy she loves by dating another guy because love is all about tit for tat.

I would rather she dates who she loves, whether it's the ML or the lawyer or some other guy. If she dates other guys to make the guy she loves despair, she is practically scum and the ML should look another girl who is not toxic.

ML is pretty much garbage.

He has too much self pity & misplaced anger.

He is supposed to be a successful photographer but looking at his work ethic and basic workplace manners, you wonder how he ever became one.

This got boring real fast.
Another Kdrama with a very successful handsome ML simping for FL(how original).

Worse is after 4 episodes, the story seems all over the place.
The ML has very little screen time, almost feels like a supporting character at this point.

Ep 13, that's a sure way to confuse the heck out of any girl.
Care for her one second and bully the next second.

The guy is behaving like a high school kid with a crush on a girl - the only way to deal with it is to bully her

Too much romance or cute romance does not fit in with the tone of the drama.
This drama is better served with adult romance than the usual campy Cdrama romance.

Thankfully the drama is almost giving us the adult romance considering it is period drama where people are more reserved.

Every story that can ever be told has already be told.

The only reason to watch movies or dramas is the journey the characters take and this drama looks like a pleasant journey.

This drama is my fav right now.

The ML is very nicely characterized. He is the perfect friend for the FL.
Goes to show how just being there for some one can mean the world to them.

My point was on how he was projected as not even being attracted to girls. That was not normal.

nothing wrong if the ML is showing to be attracted to girls in past.
After all, the FL has a great character interactions shown with guys in her past.

It's a combination of him not being shown as attracted to girls + his current hostile interactions to girls + scnes with his male friend that made me think that way

So, basically a person hits puberty & that person just does not go through the normal biological process of being attracted to opposite sex until they meet the right person to marry - in your opinion, it happens, right?

Again, let's clarify, we are not talking about the person dating or wanting to date. Just cause you are attracted does not result in dating or desire to date.

And yeah, the Fake Gay is present in the first few episodes.
His own brother thinks he is gay (may be jokingly). there is a whole montage and episode dedicated to the ML and another guy who he played with before.
Don't take me wrong. Would have loved it if he really was Gay.
because it looked like Gay and did not was what got me because I was hoping he was Gay.

And regarding popular and attractive men and women getting more attention - welcome to the real world. It is for most part shallow.
Even Cdramas have many girls drooling over the ML and the 2ML or 3ML. In some dramas these girls literally have visible orgasms looking at these men.
Forget the drama, these very forums have posts made a lot of people who are dreamy about the actors playing these roles. It is normal. Being attracted to attractive people is very normal. Nothing to feel guilty about it.
Never known a ugly looking poor guy with golden heart getting the hottest girl around in real life and the reasons for most part are obvious.
If you want more proof, look at these dramas, the men are absolutely gorgeous and they are like that for a particularly shallow reason.

Him being gay, even the ML own brother and mother think he may be gay.
It's a running joke of the drama for a lot of time.
