MAKE WAR NOT WAR *double take* wut? LOL
It's Anne-Julie Raccoursier. Not sure it ever got popular enough to have its own ripoffs (but what hasn't).
He doesn't buy fakes though! He buys solid no names, sturdy enough to last a lifetime :D The slogan kind of reflects how they don't have proper words to describe their relationship and how things they're saying aren't really fitting anymore.

Title Lucid Dream
So I watched it to check out whether it's really bad or just downrated because of some scandal. Turns out it's just mediocre, especially if you get hyped with the concept and start expecting something like a crossover of Inception and Sherlock's mind palaces. Yeah, I'm spoiled.
The beginnig is rushed/compressed and filled with so many cliches I almost think it's intentional (seriously, who puts their kid on a merry-go-round, don't those people watch movies?). Like, a kidnapper seen in a dream has a tattoo on an exposed skin and they can easily draw a picture of his face and find him just like that. Almost everything happens just like that. The man types into google 'how to find a kidnapped child?', lucid dreams came up, he happens to know a researcher who works on it, she helps him, police believe him, everything connects like a dots. There are twists, hints and foreshadowings satisfactorily coming up, but overall everything is too easy. Lucid dreaming in this movie is just sticking an electrode on one's head and injecting some substance - and bam!, on first try. I felt the concept was underused and not so different from, say, hypnosis with delving in one memory and exploring it. So I'm dissapointed.
And because it was so rushed, it didn't feel thrilling at all, just like a mildly interesting mechanism unraveling with given hints.

/oh, and reality checks very really heavily handed and not in a single case necessary.

A few things... I miss Bong Hee's narration. I know we get Ji Wook's perspective a little, but that…
what makes you think so? he's reason were shown (rape/murder? on his sister iirc) and now were heading towards Se7en (four more to go).
Maybe amnesia part got mixed from Bng Hee's inability to recall the tune. Him being amnesiac doesn't match with reason why BH & JW are being targeted by him.

ok, let's hope it's worth 68 eps. /also: is it just me, or is there a wave of new time travel cdramas…
oh, ok. Seems like an important part to cut out, all the modern mentality clashes are out. So she's just a slave from the start?

/also: is it just me, or is there a wave of new time travel cdramas incoming? I read a synopsis the other day with a time reset as a plot point, don't remember what was it.

Episode 4 and I don't know if I should keep forcing myself to watch this. I honestly am hoping it won't…
Honestly, no. Not completely. She does tone down, her character gets more nuanced, you'll see her from different angles when she's tired or broken after some revelations or more mature than it seemed, but in the core - not. Sadly, she's typecasted to act in this style in many dramas.
Small doses, I guess?
If you want to see her without screaming, go for Lucky Romance (but her character there is so ridiculously supersticious it's hard to empathise with).

What's the name of the song that Ryu Su Hyeon sang multiple times in past? It's so beautiful
scroll down a few pages or go to Wednes' Did You Know? discussion, it was answered in one of those places before.

If you're triggered by torture scenes (or stupidity), you may want to skip a scene in ep 7, from 00:20-00:24:04.
I'm almost certain I saw a sageuk without torture scenes once, but can't for the life of me remember what was it. But yeah, pretty much obligatory. To the point that those scenes are just there to make a point and move on like it wasn't a big deal at all, so knowing where are they, one can safely skip. More often than not tortures in dramas have little to no impact on people subjected to it, and that's what bugs me the most.
Not sure how accurate their technique of choice is too, but whatever.

Episode 4 and I don't know if I should keep forcing myself to watch this. I honestly am hoping it won't…
Idk, I think it was resolved well in the end, once you get used to kdrama psychology and don't expect accuracy. The beginning is rough, and everyone is kinda, hyperactive? but they do tone down a little. It may be confusing at first because there's a past story to unravel and it takes some time for everything to fall in its place, but it was worth getting through it. For me at least. But no pressure.
With that being said, some characters are inconsistent. I needed a rewatch to determine whether the brother is smart/has a plan or not really (answer: whatever is convenient for a plot at a given point).

im getting six flying dragons vibe in this drama(but ofcourse SFD is on a whole new level). pyunsoo is like moo…
I see where you're coming from, but Moomyong wasn't shoved down our throats straight from the start like water owners are here. It was hiding beneath other opponents and tangled within dynamic power struggles, but only gradually revealed to be everywhere (and then overtaken). That what was so cool about it.
But this comment gives me hope to continue. I'm glad there are exciting things to come, since I stucked somewhere weeks ago.

That was cool what they did in episodes 13-14. I was spoiled with the existence of a plot twist and some 'he' being a killer, and even expecting something to come it took me by surprise. They hid a real revelation beneath a more obvious one. Good job, show.

Wow, I don't understand where the hate comes from. I think it's pretty funny....
And still the majority of votes isn't hate, but 7s to 9s, which may very well stay that way. What's more, 12 people either think it's a masterpiece or are desperate to bring to score up. Are those scores more valid than 1s and 4s? I don't see anyone ranting over them.
Obsessing over ratings now is pointless. Until the function of rating airing dramas is active, it's going to stay this way. I believe anyone with a brain can check the drama out and judge for him/herself.

I need an answer: How tolerable is the inaccuracy degree of this? In other words, how believable is that it is…
Yeah, towards the end ep first hour. That kind of a vintage-looking drafting lamp, in mint green I guess. Technically, we could push the date to very late, pre-Japanese occupation Joseon since it isn't stated (unless it is?).
But it's not like it's not coherent within a fusion sageuk. But I totally get there're people distracted with modern inclusions too, and that objects or rituals are easier to spot than mind patterns or whole mentality.

ratings on non-korean site have nothing to do with cutting dramas.
