On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Aug 11, 2022
Also, I've been feverishly waiting for LBY to *fully* smile or genuinely laugh at CSS (or anyone), and the ONE TIME I saw a full-toothed smile, his dang face is cut off by the camera, UGH. lol (talking about at the end of their conversation on the tower @ his camp when they talked about the land he got for them).

Yoooo Ep 47 preview, I'm LIVING for it. #give me sad wu lei any day.
The *pain* in his voice as he's screaming gave me chills. All of his trauma and pain vocalized and haunting, almost childlike sounding in its grief.

No one knows...saw some where that it was not in the novel...
Glad you're enjoying it! Are you caught up? I didn't mind the tiger seals plot. It showed us her ingenuity but also how naïve she really is. To think she could master a lie in the imperial palace so effortlessly like she's back home. I think it showed the cracks in her persona, and LBY showed his willingness to fill in those gaps and the depths he'd go to help her (treason?! Giving up your 1 relic?!). I think it was a stark reminder that the dangers are /real/ and the consequences even more so.

He abandons CSS because his last hope that there could be some rightful vengeance for him was completely irradicated…
LOLLLL. Okay, sure. You got me.

I already disagree with the way you're compartmentalizing your opinion at the 1st sentence, so honestly, I stopped there.

I think the cliff scene will be the cliffhanger [pun intended] for EP 48. There's a lot of ground to cover still.
Oooo! I'll look. Yeah, i think the trial/5yr skip/reunion (not reconciliation, just seeing each other again) will take place in 1-2 episodes max.

I think we all need to be realistic. LBY is not crazy but angry which is perfectly normal. If the emperor had…
I think you've missed a lot of critical points regarding both characters. He's perfectly sane, and perfectly calculating and scheming in his ability. Calling him deranged or insane is a gross simplification. You literally can't compare their lives, whatsoever.

consort yue already knows ling buyi wants to take a bloody revenge and will ruin his marriage while doing so she's…
He abandons CSS because his last hope that there could be some rightful vengeance for him was completely irradicated when the Emperor went soft on Marquis Yue's punishment. He leaves CSS because he doesn't want her involved in the absolute bloodbath/suicide mission he eventually puts into motion. He's dark, complex, and traumatized, yes. Still, he's also a human being who literally watched his *e n t i r e* city get murdered in front of his eyes, including his immediate family. He's lived his entire life as a lie under a different name, with his uncle/father, who, in actuality, is responsible for the death of his family, and his mother/aunt, who was driven mad by the grief. I don't see how his willingness to avenge *generations* of murdered family members (as the sole surviving member, no less) is "selfish and insensitive." Is it bitterly sad and unfair to CSS? Yes, but I have a hard time believing anyone else in his shoes would just walk away from a lifetime of guilt, grief, and unprocessed trauma for a happily ever after while his entire family is left unavenged.

With the cliff scene probably being episode 49 or 50 I'm glad we'll get 4 more episodes that same week to watch…

Yeah, this isn't in the novel. I'm guessing they adjusted the plot to condense a side story that (while entertaining in the novel) may not be necessary.

I really like the realism with injuries in this drama. People aren't magically better in the next scene or in the next episode. You can see wounds healing/festering/reoccurring. I really like that. It's not done well enough in so many dramas.

Seriously impressed by Dylan this time. I didn't like his acting in Miss the Dragon but he's improved so much.…
Agreed. Im absolutely feral for him in this role. Its perfect for him.

Well all i can say is Good Luck with your expectations 😅So far its no where close to that ..
@Debarati1983 and thats fine. I personally prefer to give young actors like him a bit more grace since hes still fairly new. I dont think he had the right role until now. Ive personally really enjoyed him in this drama so far. 🤷
