How is Lost in Kunlun Mountains? I heard there were a lot of editing issues for the first few episodes. Has that leveled out? I really like Xu Kai so I wanna give it a shot.

Its basically the boiling point for him after she's done this to him time and time again (doing things without discussing with him first, only for him to face the repercussion or clean up the mess afterward). He doesn't know how she sees him.

Yeah. He found out through the 5th princess and the 5th prince. When the 5th princess gets filth dunked on her (the revenge CSS implements), she screeches at LBY at some point, pointing out CSS did it for revenge. LBY was like, "revenge? what revenge? why did you do this to the 5th princess? what did she do?" and the 5th prince blabbers on the whole story (since he was a witness). LBY is very hurt and feels betrayed by her omission. She didn't trust him enough to tell him what happened, or to let him in on her revenge plot. Had the 5th prince not said anything, he would have never known. The conversation is fierce. "What am I to you?" kind of discussion. VERY good chapter.

I really feel like these 3 days pass by in a BLUR and its back to the torturous wait.

Yeah, I think its more of an age thing. Dilraba is 8yrs his senior. I also heard that his first on-screen kiss was already contracted to be in his movie The Upcoming Summer (filmed the same year as TLB) but I'm not sure if that was just a rumor.

So, so true. I really do feel like LLTG is in a league of it's own. The production value, the writing, the cinematography, the music - it's all so cleanly done and I adore the source material. Very captivating ML and FL.

Very good point! I'm still sad about what happened to Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo over The Untamed. Their BTS was some of the *best* of any cdrama I've ever watched. They were so fun to watch together and now, years later, they still can't be seen in public together. So ridiculous. In the context of LLTG though- I'm only referring to the Emperors ship over CSS and LBY. i think it's super adorable. I think Lusi and Wu Lei are just friendly professionals.

MAJOR BOOK SPOILER - since you asked-

CSS revenge, LBY finds out - big fight between them - LBY revenge against families of the girls who pushed CSS- LBY punished- they make up. There's a murder mystery type subplot where she helps in the investigation (and their relationship really starts to be more cohesive), then he goes to battle along with QiQi's dad. I think that's all of next week - excluding the finer details, of course.

in other words, he's like most of us in that he wants CSS and LBY to be in a happy relationship

Oh no, I meant, add a spoiler to your 1st comment, haha. I read the book, but thank you! :) I'm so excited for that episode. It's one of the points in the novel Ive been most excited to see play out (whump queen over here, lol).

Also- I'm LOVING his soft boy voice & face when he speaks to her and how he so quickly shifts into ice man with everyone else. You can see how young he really is when he's with her. His face becomes so smooth.

I love these last 4 episodes. I've also been reading the book (I'm a few chapters ahead of where they're at in Ep 41 preview), and I love their adaptation. They've done very well, IMO, with this version, and it matches the pacing of the novel.

I love the Emperor in Ep 36 watching CSS and LBY's PDA. He's the ultimate shipper, it's too funny. I also loveeeee all the skinship and flirting we've been given these past 4 episodes. SO MUCH YUMMINESS. I like that, although he didn't know the true reason, LBY knew CSS well enough to know she wasn't being truthful when she said she was just homesick after he consoled her. I also love that he respected her enough not to push the issue further after she avoided answering the 2nd time. Excited for the next episodes and the backlash of her (yet again) keeping information from him.
