I didn’t expect this drama to keep getting better with each episode. The ending was really well done, and I’m glad that almost every character got the ending they deserved. I feel sorry for the Crown Prince, he was truly a good person who never wanted the throne. In the end, it was his mother’s ambition that led to his death. I even feel sorry for Xiang. I expected her to do many terrible things, but she didn’t, she didn’t deserve to die. All in all, it was a very well-made drama, and even though a lot of new characters kept appearing, that actually kept things interesting and never boring.
I finished this drama today and I’m not quite sure what to say about it. I didn’t expect to see Cheng Lei in a short-format series. The drama is okay, considering it was released in 2022, the plot is simple, nothing too complex. I also didn’t really buy the whole idea of the 2ML falling for the FL, especially since he had so many chances before and showed zero interest at the time. There’s no way he could’ve fallen for her later based solely on her personality, especially since they barely had any meaningful interactions. The little girl was by far my favorite , she was so smart and sweet. Ahhh, and Mango’s translation is honestly terrible!
