Its not about being better, because I’m not, its about forgiving. God tells us not to judge others. From what I read they were all children or teens. I wish I had forgiven the culprits in my life sooner, it took a lot of years. We all have a responsibility to self and others to report things as they happen. Parents and teachers also have a responsibility to care for those children too. I often wonder if someone died because I did not report it. My abuse was on a more serious level than those teens!I forgave the unforgivable, and my heart and life is better for it. If something bad happened to you I’m sorry and I will pray for you. I am a Christian and God says to forgive, some of the things that happened to me, were to some unforgivable. To me forgiveness is a must, and it helped me to heal as well. I did not think you were being rude, I think you may not understand. We all deserve a chance to heal. Sometimes people treat you badly because they were treated badly. Often people who bully came from abuse themselves, I know there are rare people who are just evil, but most are not. Forgiveness is a two way street, it offers healing to both parties. I think that is a large part of what is wrong in the World today, no one is willing to forgive. Hate is like a cancer that can eat your soul. People are not truly adult until 21, and until that age they need parents to guide them in the right way. If no one guides them, they do things to others and themselves that they will regret. I was traumatized as a child too and I forgave the people that made fun of and bullied me. Just keep in mind that he was young . The young do not know better unless taught! People do heal and bullies grow up and change or go to jail! He deserves to be forgiven!
