I am in the process of watching this drama now, I disagree that it is not a good drama! I’m in the 11th episode and get where the drama is heading. It is portraying moral issues and the dynamics of being filial. It also deals with betrayal on more than one level! The female lead is respectful to self and family. I will try write a review when I finish the drama, I am enjoying it so far!

I sure was hoping for redemption from the 2nd leads, but I guess karma wins. They both did despicable deeds, the male thought he was right to the last breath! That’s why children should be had by two people and not three or 4. Concubines were the most serious mistake of those times, killing and plotting from within one’s own family! Geesh! I understand from the perspective of the royal family needing a backup heir. That usually ended badly as well. It did have a nice ending for the leads though. But in my head, I will see the the second male lead being accepted as family. The secondary leads falling for each other. But mostly the Grandmother admitting her mistakes as well. I see they left it open for a continuance of the drama. The pigeon bringing the message to the shady lady near the end.
