Is it really worth of watching? I tend to get bored easily if the acting and writing aren't good enough.
On the contrary, I found almost all dialogue meaningful, and the drama doesn't dwell on problems for too long (except one). Very worthwhile and well-written. I tend to skip through dramas but watched this one attentively- the relationships and characters are very well fleshed out, along with the dialogue.
I've just finished this drama. It is an absolute must-watch. I hardly feel like any dialogue was meaningless of wasted (except for Zhuang Bei's character tbh). To anyone who hates love triangles, DON'T WORRY I DO TOO. Their romance is far from the main focus of this series- the series differentiates the love between her and the 2 brothers very obviously through their actions and ways of treatment. JJ and ZQ VS JJ and LX love is truly different.
Highly recommended for anyone who likes well-written family and life dramas. Almost all (main/ main-supporting) characters have depth. Best friends of the FL are not flat like many other CL dramas and are really relatable in their own ways.
I'm on episode 15 and this is my problem with the reset group, the constant lying between them. My biggest frustration…
Yes :( the plot twists become very expected (are they even twists at that point) because it's hard to take anything they say or do seriously KNOWING it is probably fake or just can't be trusted.
Unlike all the positive comments here, I'd say this was an extremely frustrating drama to watch. Too many questions kept piling up with no answers and I am currently at ep 13/24. The drama and characters LIE TOO MUCH and because of that, I don't believe anything and grew to hate the suspense instead of finding it thrilling. Out of boredom, frustration and annoyance, I searched up the plot twists (more lies uncovered). I will finish the drama eventually as I am watching it alongside my parents but we are all as equally as annoyed about everything. Every 30 min episode feels long.
The only merit of this drama is Hyung Joo's character. Even Ga Hyun felt too impulsive for my liking. I dislike or don't care at all about the rest of the reset group.
I believe for those who watched it week by week (airing) would find the pace better. But as someone binge-watching, I find it so annoying to have no questions answered after getting through half the show. Again, the characters feel like a bunch of liars and I don't trust anyone except for the ML and FL.
omg me too, she also didn't deserve to die, it was so unnecessary
Already predicted she would die the moment she recited the excerpt from his book about the husband planting the tree for his dead wife. Such an unnecessary death (and quick one too considering she can fight several men yet died to one stab by some sneakster).
Just watched it and all I can say is Fast & Furious, Mad Max, a total letdown. And mind you, I was separating this movie from its predecessor, Train To Busan. To those saying Peninsula is better than TTB, i'll just smile and move on.
CGI aside, the lighting in the movie took me out. Was there no one to direct the lighting in this movie properly? Why did all the night scenes look so bright? It screamed studio lighting in the worst way possible. Took me out of the movie the moment they entered the Peninsula.
I didn't feel for any of the characters. Everything was predictable. Things just happened matter-of-factly. If I wasn't watching it with my dad, I would've jumped straight to the end from the middle of the movie because I really didn't care about any of them! The characters were just that one-dimensional. I cry easily and not once did I feel an ounce of emotion each time sad and heartfelt music came on.
Huge disappointment of a movie (and I'm saying this as a stand-alone movie) - I detested everything besides set design, the main lead and some of the action sequences.
If I saw this as TTB 2, I would rate it even lower for adding nothing to the franchise.
