I would recommend everyone to watch the poster video essay (referenced here) by Accented Cinema. Because most of these posters in the article are all from the video, which gives further insight on them.
Yeo Jin Goo as Son Hak is the one I'm really not feeling. Rest of the casting doesn't seem too bad. On the side note, this is one anime I do NOT want to see adapted. With these hair colors, it'll look like a joke most of the time. Plus accounting for the high jumping and claw CGI.
To all my pals who did NOT find interest in Vincenzo, or didn't like it, its alright you're not alone. Tastes and preferences are different- this is not the first time I couldn't buy into a hyped-up drama.
That aside, saying Vincenzo is a game changer for k-dramas is a stretch. It's dismissing the quality of all dramas released before it.
Congratulations for your first article! Everyone has their own preference so I can't say I agree with you coz…
I felt a little left out since I didn't take a liking to the hyped drama (dropped after ep 2). The drama was and still is so highly praised. Glad to see that there are some who feel the same and aren't forcing it. I found the drama and the main cast pretty to look at but really wasn't feeling the forced humour. Still don't know if I should give it another shot.
So you're telling me Mimi Guli lived almost her whole life as a slave, living in fear, hardly ever getting to meet her brother, hardly getting to spend any time with her new lover, and died just like that in her youth. Her death was so unnecessary; just to fulfil the side-couple-separated-by-death trope.
Honestly not just that, its pretty cruel tying MuJin to a boy he just met, albeit the boy being Mimi's brother. With her brother around, it'll probably be even harder for him to move on in the future.
I turned away from the webtoon immediately after reading the synopsis. Going to do the same for the drama. Too bad I find love triangles intolerable since I do find Song Kang and So Hee an interesting combi for cast.

Plus, his smile is underrated.

Would also include Misaeng.
Very neat and concise list. Thanks for the recommendations :)
