its funny to me when they write a “badass” female character and dont properly show how harsh that time period would be for such a person. doesnt fill me with confidence on the character writing department.

things go her way despite her clumsy ways solely due to luck. so far anyway

im just starting but the FL wouldn’t get far in that world if she hadn’t lucked out by finding the backing she did from the start. she is a blunt instrument in how she approaches everything. no finesse, little tact, making many enemies before even knowing how far this royal family will back her.

now im worried ill feel the same… im just starting 🥲

this deserves over 8.6, i loved fated hearts and that’s 8.7 but its in NO WAY better, its great but the only thing it has over this is that it’s inherently a sexier setup. but this beats it in all other aspects.

sometimes I really wish these ratings truly reflected the quality but they only reflect how easy to love something is. EMPHASIS ON THE “easy”

if only jadewind was a good as this, or even as good as it looked. bai lu picks great scripts usually, jadewind was a rare miss. i still watched for her but the writing was in the dump

i knowww!!! also they probably destroyed their attention span at some point causing them to miss on a true gem

lets admit it, this is one of the freshes takes on a true mastermind character!!

im probably dropping this, it will yet again stretch a story over too many episodes and i have low tolerance for modern cdrama.

i also like the actors… and i liked the setup ideas, but the disappointment was THAT extreme for me. id rather follow despicable characters than absolute morons who’s actions escalate artificially and nonsensically. lol i usually am VERY forgiving twards bl, this one hit a sore spot 😆

if you call that not difficult you must have a hell (literal) of a life. i hope not
