I remember about her plagiarism scandal but the way I see it, she probably just offended someone powerful and the scandal was probably the excuse they found to get her blacklisted. She was too popular, talented and enough time has passed but even though she's still in the media she doesn't break through. This reeks of something darker. Her career reminds me a bit of Janet Jackson's if you know what I mean...I might be wrong of course but I can't help thinking there's something fishy going on.

She's a great talent but they don't want to cast her for some reason. She's so magnetic, I found her in My Father Is Strange and I've watched anything she's been in even as the villain because I can't get enough of her. Too bad they don't give her more roles.

You don't have to skip just because of the cheating. No cheating between the leads. That said, this is not a great drama either. Honestly I kept watching only because of the villain

Yes I noted the change in his appearance too. I've not watched the show, just from the clips. He's skinny and I fear he might have done the dreaded buckle fat removal thing that already destroyed half of Hollywood.

Love 'em. It's just that Chinese dramas with Korean leads often tend to never see the light of day. There's a ton of them that end up shelved for years, even a decade because of the politics between the two countries.

Really sad news. This also feels weird because around the day of her death I was in a Summer's Desire binge re-watch. I was thinking about her new marriage with her old boyfriend, and how she and her ex husband appeared to be acting very mature. And today this.
Life really is fleeting... May she rest in peace.

What a life, what a legend!

A bit too much cheese for me, and trust me, I can stomach cheesy, kitschy stuff. I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the cuteness of the show and the very dangerous villain(s). The (lack of) shift in tone was a bit jarring. The second half is dragging a bit and weirdly enough the resolution is a bit too easy. I definitely love that couple though and was rooting for every one to get their happy end. Would be a solid 8, but I deduct half a point because of the draggy second half and the rushed resolution. 7,5/10

I agree with you about the natural humor thing, and the comedic timing. The thai version takes itself a bit more seriously and the actors feel a bit more careful (except for Chakrit who I feel like nails it).

Yes. In all versions of the story, the main character is described as this guy with basically no redeeming qualities who is somehow loved by everybody for some reason. Then as you know him better you also as a watcher starts falling for him hehe
