Anne has a knack for playing strong and somewhat violent characters. Funny that her most iconic role is the one where she's a weak and frail girl. None of that here. Yes she does get raped and is fairly traumatized by it but then she grows an teflon armor around herself and fights back against those who wronged.
I appreciated two things in this drama: (1) the progression of her forgiving the ML. She doesn't fall in his lap as soon as he says "I love you". We can see her grapple with her anger, and act on both before slowly coming around. (2) they show her trauma, two times at least when she's put in sexual situations and panics and gets hysterical. It was refreshing to see in a lakorn of this period a somewhat-kinda-almost realistic reaction to rape, instead of a female lead who just bounce back on her feet after a single tear in the morning.

If I were to recommend this show, I would say this is a good drama if: (1) you like the leads.; (2) you like morally ambiguous support characters; (3) you want to see an older drama with a good amount of skinship and chemistry.
I binge watched this show in one sitting (fast forwarding a lot). It's a pretty run off the mill drama for that time period. I mostly watched it for Will and Son. They have great chemistry, and look so cute. The acting fpr these two wasn't the best, but still much better than what I've seen from many lakorn newbies (and not so new). I really appreciated the narration style for this drama. The story seems to be told from the poor mother's point of view, and there's a really nice voice over describing her reasoning at every plot point. Come to think of it, she's the one character who has all pieces of the puzzle and chooses time and time again the direction of events and how the drama unfolds. I liked the voice over, which is a nice change from the thinking-out-loud a lot of lakorns clumsily give us to get some insight into a character. It also wasn't over used.
I gave it a 7.

Oh... well then I hope that a sub team will pick it up. I like Push and haven't seen him play this type of nice, calm ML before. And I know he might do an even better job than Zhang Hans who I love. Push is just more handsome haha

Something in the rain: When they're almost caught kissing (by his sister) and the FL pushes him off and starts hitting me. I didn't even watch the whole drama, just scenes, but this one is iconic.

Fated to Love You: their first night with the traditional clothing and the metaphores haha.

Jealousy Incarnate: When the ML dances and sings while crying for the FL. I was actually laughing AND crying too.

My Father is Strange: Almost every scene with the older sister and her boyfriend.

You Who Came From the Star: When she hooks her bag on the car's side mirror and thinks people are honking at her because they recognize her.

Who the H*** gave a Mills&Boon/HP romance to lakorn producers??? I need to shake their hand and say thanks. This is gonna be so great, Mook is the best, so I know I can rest easy...

So Wayree, there's crazy skinship, even more than many chinese dramas. But the beginning is not politically correct, so be warned. Great chemistry though.

After My Girlfrien is an Alien, I'm a complete fan. He won me completely over in the last episode, first the jealousy scene in the shop, and then the timestop scene a few minutes later. What a beautiful actor. I also like that he's not skinny like the typical chinese actor, and not baby faced like most thai actora nowadays.
I cant wait to watch him again!!

He's so great in My Girlfriend is An Alien, hard to believe it was only his second drama. Very talented actor.

What a delighful little drama. Everything was great about it. There's a good mix of sci-fi, a little bit of family trauma, and a big helping of fluffy romance. I tip my hat to the writers because genius is indeed in the little details. At some moment this drama gave me vibes of Down With Love, although the stories have absolutely nothing in common (except for a quirky heroine). I think it's more in the tone, how the show is able to give you rather high stakes without taking you to the emotional dumps. You will definitely feel sad when the heroes cry, but those moments are never too long, and the plot moves rather well. The love between the leads is a prime example of how you write a believable romance. I am fully convinced that Chai Xiaoqi and Fang Leng's life is gonna be rainbows and mutant babies from then on.
As for Fang Lie, the ML's little bro, he is one of my all time favorite characters. He's pure wholesomeness.
All in all, I highly recommend this drama.

It's a pretty draggy show and I wouldn't recommend it. But if you don't mind plot holes the size of continents and stagnant story, the chemistry is pretty good between the leads.

This character is a realistic version of all the usual lakorn heroines. They are always perfect and get trampled by everyone, in dramas they end up with the prince anyway and all is well. In real life they either end up dead from all the mistreatment, or crazy, like Wee.

Oh poor you. If you have a hard time with plot holes from ep4, buckle up cause things are only getting worse. I personally stopped at ep11, but I can still answer that dad is a good guy, and there's no police in the universe of the show. Good luck!

After the debacle of Nabi, I'm a bit stressed knowing it's from the same channel. The good thing is we might get quick subs, the bad news is... well, Nabi...

This show was painful to watch. It started alright but pretty quickly got really boring. Nothing wrong about the story, I blame the editing and the acting. No chemistry to be found, the leads could've played siblings. To make it short, ill just say that it took me 6 years to complete this thing. I would only recommend this to my worst enemy, but only if they were mean to my grandma that day. Not a bad show, just a boring one.

It seems that the most suspense about this show is the number of episodes haha. I'm enjoying watching you guys watch this show. You let me know when the last episode is out guys!
