filler, wtf?? it's literally the sequence of season 1 events, it works perfectly fine as a continuation
This is a great bit of teaser info - Thank you for searching and sharing. Excited to see how this drama brings everything to a closure. It has taken the world by storm and the expectations are am sure skyhigh, so hoping it ends well.
I am guessing one of the games will also intro Cheol-Su, Yeong-hee's boyfriend. This is basis the ending in S2 and the posters for S3, ofc.
Till then I am rewatching that scene directly from the episode 😅 The song is great - but Jun/DHJ's crooning and ahhhsss and the "hahaha 부럽치 (are you jealous) was the highlight!
WHAT THE 29+? Like what is that supposed to even mean and how did these people even decide 29 as the benchmark 😂 I am also wondering given this is Korean context, what content will it be to label this is as 29+ LOL
Anyways - I love these 2 actors and Shin Hye sun is LOVE so lets see whatever this means, given the cast I have faith in their talent! So excited what this all will be 💖
They are showing what Ena is perceiving, not the actual situation
Well said - even I was not sure if its called stereotype or statistical, but I get the understanding on what you are saying, I shared the same analogy as well.
It's completely natural for opinions to differ on any drama—everyone has their own tastes and perspectives,…
You are very funny! 🤡 👍🏼 I understand this show was not for you, hope you find a better drama that is to your liking next time and lives up to your high IQ standard. FYI - you can also drop a series, if you don't like it - why prolong your agony?
Unwarranted but thanks for your suggestion on what genres I should watch or not watch. I'll chose to ignore it as #MLMR! 🙏🏼
Also I did not stare at your comment for hours - as you claim, how would you know unless you were waiting for the same time duration? I only replied when the notification pops up cause someone / you commented on the thread ✌🏼
What the Episode! 💪🏼 What the First Snow! 😍 This episode had so many new amazing expressions by DHJ - I just cant stop 🤣 1. The mirror admiration and evil smirk 2. The In My Body machine scene, and teeth clenching at Alex 3. Skipping away after telling Roy the news 4. Ordering Tteokbokki, Rice Balls and the scream 5. The whole outdoor gym
Ahhhhh - I can just go on, DHJ is another level, but all the characters are so amazing and funny!
There was a new word to the "What the" Series - What the Rice Ball 🍙 Also: ME TOO, ME TOO TOO, ME TOO TOO TOO TOO! 😂
Omg - I will stop here lest I get carried away and literally start describing the drama here 😅
It's completely natural for opinions to differ on any drama—everyone has their own tastes and perspectives,…
You brought a valid point and summed it up well - it's actually not that deep 🙏🏼
Am still shocked to learn that apparently - the absence of gender clarity of a silhouette, how actual killings were done would prompt someone to rate this drama 1/10 and call anybody appreciating the drama a person with low IQ.
Not sure if it speaks more about the drama or the person asking everyone to be in the same boat / viewpoint as them, and turning down any explanation that others are trying to provide in a good manner.
Ep 11 - FINALLLYYY!!! Everything about this drama is just perfect. "I am dreaming of us - dreaming of us stay together"
Ep 12 preview: Looks like we would have some hurdles coming in, as it always happens in drama storylines - we take a break, and come back stronger - so am hoping it will be something on those lines. I am in love with this drama and want the finale and yet at the same time I will miss the characters once it is over - what a great dilemma to be in 💖
Please watch him in Pump Up The Healthy Love. It finishes airing this week (Wed/Thu) so you can binge it - am…
OMG! Amazing - that's great, hope you did like it? Yes, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale was also good and yeah now that you point it out it is quite similar to J-drama vibes - good catch!
Even am yet to watch the ones you mentioned - Melo Movie and WLGYT - I have seen bits and parts of it but they both require patience and a particular set of mindset. It is not a easy-breezy drama and makes you reflect on real life, so am holding on to them. So completely agree with you there as well.
How about DP, Mask Girl - I recommend both of them, if you enjoy such genre as overall dramas too, not just LJY - as his roles are quite minor but impactful, as always.
You know, I had been thinking to do it for a long time - and after our exchange of comments I went ahead and did it - created a literal "simp corner" for him in my profile 😅 completely obsessed - just waiting for GIFs to be made for Pump Up the Healthy Love so I can add them too! So in a way thanks for pushing me to do it! 😂

You are entitled to believe what you want - that is what I was saying and that is "perhaps" what the creators of the drama are trying to share. I thought you would be reasonable and hence I shared my viewpoints - so did others. No one, not even me "criticized" you - I don't know how you are reading these from anyone's comment. Everyone in this thread tried to put forth their points in a good manner - sorry to see that you cannot see it and are being quite rude.
But I understand that you want to see thing "only" your way - so okay, as you like. P.S - you did reply!
filler, wtf?? it's literally the sequence of season 1 events, it works perfectly fine as a continuation
Hmm yeah that's what I thought and read as well. It is a common practice now - when a series is good, popular and money-making then why not milk it well and split it. The makers know that the demand will be there and hence they split the stories. Its just business and I respect that as a strategy - but feels like a bummer when you have been waiting since so many years ...

If you like slapstick-ish comedy and hints of romance. then it is VERY VERY GOOD! It literally brightened up my day/week and you can trust the cast to deliver - especially - LJY!
In fact you can start it now and binge half today and half tomorrow. The final episode airs tomorrow so you can pace it accordingly. It is really entertaining - but then again everyone's choice is different and hence I gave you the above context of themes!
Hope you start it and enjoy it! 💖💪🏼
P.S. I also read your comment that you have recently got introduced to Lee Jun Young in Weak Class Hero 2. Given that was a negative swag role, watch him in this now. You will be amazed and love the contrast. Pretty sure you will end up checking out his other works too then - I highly recommend: Love and Leashes and Brave Citizen as two movies to see his diverse range. I recommend movies as they are shorter and enough to enjoy this man's acting prowess!

The ambiguity of the silhouette was likely intentional, serving as a narrative device to keep the audience guessing. There were no distinct features to confirm gender—just a tall, lean figure in a cap/hoodie, shrouded in mystery. This uncertainty plays into the psychological nature of the drama, where assumptions are challenged.
Given the severity of the crimes, many instinctively associated the silhouette with a male perpetrator, reinforced by the predominantly male suspects in the story. However, the lack of clear identifiers suggests that the shadowy figure is more of a symbolic placeholder—an unknown entity whose identity remains elusive until revealed. The drama might have deliberately leaned into these biases, making viewers question their own perceptions.
In fact, I personally thought that when the final reveal is done, the killer emerges from the same shadows/silhouettes -so I found it good. In essence, the silhouette represents the idea of an unseen threat rather than a specific individual—a clever storytelling choice that keeps the mystery alive, IMHO.
I'm pretty sure that the silhouettes I saw in the first murder, Yoon Ina's uncle's death, and Oh Cheoljin's death…
It's completely natural for opinions to differ on any drama—everyone has their own tastes and perspectives, and that’s what makes discussions so engaging. However, dismissing those who enjoy it by questioning their intelligence is unfair and unkind.
Imagine loving a drama and wanting to share your enthusiasm, only to be met with harsh, dismissive comments. That wouldn't feel great, right? Respectful conversations allow room for different viewpoints without belittling others.
So, let’s keep discussions open and thoughtful—express your opinions freely, but also appreciate that others may see things differently. A little kindness goes a long way 🙏🏼💖
With that said, I’ve shared my thoughts on the silhouettes in a comment below under spoiler tag. It’s an intriguing topic, and I have shared my take on it.
So Seungjoo was a suspect, but never arrested and as she killed herself and I Na and Curry Kim had nothing to…
Regarding Suspects: Even I had high doubts on both the psychiatrists, more so after the Jeju incidence. I had shared it while watching Ep 2: https://mydramalist.com/752975-nine-puzzle#comment-22158248 so as an audience I was quite happy that I was right. Somewhat but yeah :)
Though the reveal was definitely sad - I feel like the Chief, she was a victim too and her means to avenge her mother were questionable but not sure where the moral compass points at given when we know what we know what really happened in the past. It was unfortunate - one of those situations that led to evil being done as a cycle.
Regarding Unresolved Case: Am with you, in terms of Korean laws even am not sure. But then this a drama and hence open to multiple interpretations and so we can leave it at that. At the end of the day we know what happened, maybe the police force also knows what happened - they are intelligent folks so it is not difficult to put the puzzle pieces together. It is a situation that everyone knows of but cannot speak or document it. It was a cycle of evil that ended with the killer punishing the others and themselves.
I am guessing one of the games will also intro Cheol-Su, Yeong-hee's boyfriend. This is basis the ending in S2 and the posters for S3, ofc.

Which is what makes it a brilliant drama!
