Ho-su with his sunbae, Hwang Ji-Soo is a vibe. The way she's always looking out for him, just him opening up to her and her teasing him is so cute! #BeyondWorkBesties π
Can you recommend series that I can watch without getting bored?
Mr Queen - always recommended! π Signal, Move to Heaven, Tomorrow, Death's Game, Pump up the Healthy Love, A Business Proposal, Karma, Nine Puzzles, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, 365: Repeat the Year
These are K-drama recommendations, and for me personally did not have a single dull moment. Hope you like some/all of them and happy drama watching!
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her…
Oh absolutely agree! I am watching Ep 4 - and while a lot of things are being uncovered, there are a lot of mysteries as well. Like there is more to the story than what we are being let on. And this is so true in everyday life - you think you know a person, it can be as close as a partner, sibling, parent - but then we really don't know them and assume a lot of things of them and from them.
That is such a beautiful message that has been shown through this drama!
Ep 3 - Mi-Ji secretly hoping Ho-su says yes to go with her on a subway, instead of Park Ji Yun. Next Scene: The girls riding together in the car π and neither of them happy about it.
Hahah, Hosu you are the man! πππ that's some way to avoid conflict!
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her…
I can feel it already - and I love the fact that I can resonate with both of them, on many levels. One of those dramas that is healing and motivating for the characters and audience! π
I think it's the fact that Miji unconsciously doesn't want to hide her true self with Hosu? And Hosu brings her…
True - and thanks for explaining this so well. I guess this falls under the whole "person's real self will come out" like I mentioned in my OP - plus the fact that you mentioned - that Mi-ji tends to be more vulnerable/not afraid to be so when it comes to Hosu.
Still at Ep 3 - am slowly watching it cause I don't want to rush it, but am liking the tale of these 2 sisters! And ofc, the people around them.
I have just started this show - had been waiting long for it to reach the half-mark, to begin. Just 2 episodes done, but already find the sisters' journeys and Hosu's relatable. There are scenes that almost feel like someone is showing me the mirror, and you cannot help but feel emotional about it - Good show, and I cannot wait to see how it all unfolds and heels the characters, and audience in process.
Just one question - because of the ending of Ep 2, why did Mi-ji not act more conservative when meeting Hosu to be more convincing as Mi-rae. A part of me gets it that ultimately a person's real self will come out - but still provided they planned to do the whole twin-switch/Parent Trap formula so why not act/pretend better?
Or is it too early to have this question - and I need to watch more episodes?
Watched 5 eps and it's entertaining. It has everything you enjoy in this kind of genre, like invincible MC, death…
OOOH - Death of Physics - is a little worrisome. Like subtle is good, but if it is done as if men are flying and doing stunts that is impossible can go either way. It went well when I saw Study Group - but then it was done with a comedic effect. And I understand even this drama is a webtoon adaptation but it has a more dark edgy vibe.
I will still give it a try cause of the side characters that I mentioned am interested in - and I hope it will be a good one. Thanks for sharing.
It's a good one ,particularly appealing to fans of action and revenge thrillers. No boring episode for me love…
Thanks - let me watch it then. I love action and revenge thrillers - just that have been watching similar genres lately, so was thinking if I should take a break or deep dive straight into it. I will go for the side characters more than the ML - so lets see how it goes.
Thank you for sharing your views, I will definitely watch it basis your and others who have shared their views and the fact that this is just 7 eps πͺπΌ
But yes, I think you will have to edit your comment and remove that link :|
Lily Alice - you have all my π for sharing this article. This was such a lovely show - that has motivated me on a personal level, so will remain special. And of course - love for the entire cast, their characters and quirks, expressions and whole story is too chaotic and great!
Lee Jun Young - well, can't say enough for the man. No one has made me feel this amazed by their talent as much as him in my decade long of K-drama watching. So much so that I have been triggered to enshrine his characters in my profile - I have never ever done that for anyone till date.
What the Drama! πͺπΌπ "I can't stop this feeling"
Iβm not particularly drawn to the ML, and Iβve been taking a break from action/crime dramas to return with a fresh perspective (watched too many such dramas back to back).
However, the trailer piqued my interestβespecially in seeing what kind of roles Choo Young Woo and Gong Myung play. And of course, Huh Joon Ho, Jo Han Chul, and Ahn Kil Kang always deliver powerhouse performances! Lee Jun Hyuk is another favorite, though I gather his screentime might be minimal basis his role in the summary.
For those who have watchedβwould you say the drama is worth it for these mentioned side characters/actors? Do they have enough screentime and depth to keep one engaged?
If their roles aren't explored in much detail, I might hold off and watch it later when I'm in the mood for the genre. ππΌ
Also 7 Eps ONLY - so is this complete or ends on cliffhanger for another season?

This is the episode where the cast of 24-Hour Health Club/Pump Up The Healthy Love appear

Is it the same that you are talking about or any other?

Along with OMO! OMO! OMO! and some S-words π this was my favorite and widely used K-word/phrase.
But now the current favorite and obsession is "What The" for literally everything!
