I'm scared that this is going to have a sad ending. I don't know if I can watch it as it comes out when it has that sense of heartbreak. I can't take it!
I was the one who created this page, but I don't even remember when this was posted. It feels like it's been a really long time with no updates, though. Is anyone out there? Does anyone know what's up with this?
Y'know I'm gonna upset some people with this one but i hope... if there's romance, there are some girl/guy pairings
Just curious, but why? Every single zombie show or movie ever has girl/guy pairings, and there's never anything male/male, so it's not like it's new or interesting. But regardless, you're in luck, as this looks very much like it will exclusively be girl/guy pairings with nothing gay, as usual.
I am sort of hoping with this cast they can make room for at least one gay pairing (with hopefully a happy ending), but I'm used to m/m fans being cast aside when plots get super intense and interesting, so I'm preparing myself for the likely disappointment. I actually felt really sad and betrayed because they only do BL stuff, but then when they whip out a zombie show, it looks like it's het, like every other zombie thing. I was so excited for a few minutes because I thought I was finally getting zombie BL, lol. I mean, if they want to do something non-BL, why can't it just be gen without any romance at all? I've never actually seen any zombie shows or movies without at least some (het) romance.
I have more confidence that Aof can get a great performance out of Jimmy and Sea. He works very well with his actors. I know they both have a lot of potential, and I hope we'll finally get to see what they can do.
I don't like Theory of love but I like Vice Versa 🤣
Lol, I hated Vice Versa (so boring and totally missed tons of opportunities), but I loved Theory of Love. So I guess it just depends on your perspective. Either way, Jimmy and Sea were maybe too new to acting to be able to carry the weaker writing of Vice Versa without a stronger director, but Tay and New are very experienced, so I think the directing won't bring them down regardless.
If i remember correctly Jan's character should be asexual. If they erase that 🔪🔪🔪
I feel the exact same way! I've been fretting about it since the show was announced. I'm so sad because it seems quite obvious they're going to pair her with Sing's character. The manga didn't have any of the nuance of the Japanese adaptation, unfortunately, and this is supposed to follow the manga "more closely." I am so sad this rare ace representation likely won't exist in the Thai version. :(
I see Thor is here too, I hope they will become side couple, but based on the trailer I guess not :(
Yeah, I'm a little surprised they didn't capitalize on that from The Warp Effect. They're both in it, but it looks like Fluke is paired with someone else. But maybe they'll get another chance in the future.
Honestly both Ploy and Vee are buttholes, it seems. They're perfect for each other, and Mark should give Nuea…
Seriously!!! I finished it and ultimately was able to forgive Vee, but I think that was more me just wanting to enjoy them as a pair than anything. I hope you're able to enjoy it! I was so frustrated for the first half.
I get that people are upset about the lack of completion with the supernatural stuff. The show didn't have enough…
The ending was happy and hopeful! I don't get why people are upset about it. Yes, it hurts a little, and I can see Dennis fans having some blue balls on that one. But what I got was that Yu Dam is a better person for not having spent his life obsessed with Dong Baek, so he probably treated his people better and Dennis didn't end up having the same fallout. Also, he no longer has those painful memories, so he can just love Dong Baek without all of the hurt and pressure. It sucks that they have to start over in a way, but they were clearly always meant to be, from the first time they fell in love 300 years ago, to now, when they're finally falling in love in a world where they can be together and no one has to die because of homophobia and classism.
I wish it had had more time, because there was a lot of good here. But the way people were talking about the ending, I was surprised to find it was so positive. They're falling in love again, guys. This time without all of the baggage. That's happy in my book.
I get that people are upset about the lack of completion with the supernatural stuff. The show didn't have enough time, which is why I hate the restrictions of KBL. It's always like this. However, it did the best it could with the time it DID have. More than that... (spoilers about ending below)
Very happy and hopeful ending. Not sure why everyone is reacting like it's sad. They get a fresh start now and can love each other on even grounds, not because of a curse.
Not at all! It's a very happy ending, with a little sadness. It's for the best, though. They can be together now without all of that baggage. They can really fall in love again without the pressure or knowledge that they have a curse there, and Yu Dam isn't haunted by painful memories.
Nope, otherwise I'd add it to the page. I didn't even initially catch that they were taking it on during the expo because they didn't put much emphasis on it. They didn't have a trailer for it yet, like some of their other projects, but they have their newbies cast in it, so that's promising. Hopefully we learn more soon!
