It sucks but yes, he did send her away (to a far away university) in the past. He pushed her far away as much as he can...to protect her in a way.

Also, in episode 11 (and 12), we are in the present time now with her back in their home but he is not happy LOL he wants her to stay gone. They are kinda of passive aggressive towards eachother - just build-up resentment and anger. So, they still haven't reconciled their relationship.

Not him asking her to get him water again, like the Titanic scene from ep 7 LOL that room must've been very hawt 😏😛🫦🔥
