The thing is they should follow drama's page not novel! I dont't care anymore. It is not like this will effect…
Itās true that this wonāt affect the showās actual success in China, but that completely misses the point.
This is about accuracy, fairness, and giving credit where it is due.
Whether you look at the old billing order, the new billing order, or narrative focus, Deng Wei legally and rightfully fronts this project.
They need to stop using arguments that are completely irrelevant to the facts just to justify a double standard. At the end of the day, their hypocrisy won't change reality: China's official industry standards will always matter more than international fan page biases. š«
Just a heads-up for anyone trying to fix cast lists on MDL: the platform is openly rejecting official Chinese billing orders while selectively enforcing their own rules. I recently submitted a request to correctly list Deng Wei first according to official announcements, but MDL staff rejected it. Their excuse? They claim they don't follow China's billing order and instead arrange lists by "whose perspective the story is centered around."But we all know thatās a blatant double standard. Look at Empress Rebornāitās a massive female-centric novel, yet Wang Hedi is ranked first on MDL because of his star power and official fanwei. It's incredibly frustrating that international fan platforms ignore official industry standards, but it's even worse when they use "narrative focus" as a selective excuse to deny certain actors their rightful billing. Don't waste your time trying to fix lists with official data; the system is completely inconsistent.
OMGGEEE I love it š I which they made it a bit longer I wanna prolong my frustrations hahahaha anyway I canāt wait for the finale hope they will wrap their story nicely. PD Shin fighting!
They took about 5 episodes just to know who they were really looking for (Iām talking about xia zhiguangās character) there were more talks than action and I honestly felt sleepy. The concept is good but acting and action felt sloppy at times. I liked both female characters though but tian jiarui and ju jingyi doesnāt have chemistry even with Chen Duling and Joseph Zheng. Yan A needs more training in acting. Iāll still continue watching this may be perhaps until Rebirth starts airing. Hopefully it will improve.
Iāll be honest the show isnāt great but Iām staying for the love triangle (well I just like the second ml) I find his personality more appealing. The male leadās character isnāt appealing at all, heās too boring and I didnāt like the way they dressed him up especially when heās out there doing volunteer works at the dog shelter, he looks like heās unemployed lol.
Sad that Ui Yeong didnāt go to Ji Suās play š
Just finished watching available episodes. The production if good, setting and cinematography, Song Weilong looks dashing, Angelababy is pretty, leads acting are fine. The plot of "he loves her x she's hiding her real identity which turned out to be his enemy" is cliche yet this one has some potential...just that - I feel, in my own opinion, male lead is better off with a mature or atleast same age group with baby (Chen Xiao, Dou Xiao, among others), they can play with chemistry atleast. Baby and SWL both beautiful people but togther on screen, they look like siblings. Not sure if I'm going to continue watching but without minding much the chemistry, the drama overall is okay, atleast so far with the episodes available.
Have some patience. Kdramas say 10 years ago used to be 100 times slower than these recent short ones on netflix…
What is wrong with what I have said? I was only expressing my thoughts after watching the two episodes. Anyway, I won't argue with someone who is clearly a newbie than me.
Still rooting for Lee Se Young's character. I just loved her and find her very pretty ever since.
I think Na In Woo looked even more attractive in this drama than the last time I saw him in Marry My Husband. Just finished watching episode 2 and I get where some negative comments are coming from. It's kind of slow and there seems to be no thrill with how the story is unfolding. But since I like Lee Se Young, find Na In Woo more handsome, and wanna emote for the 2ml, I may continue watching. Hopefully it improves,
I've followed both seasons while they were airing, and just wanna leave this cement here: both Seasons are solid, however for me, Season 2 is more mind blowing than Season 1. Noh Min Woo's character added more flavor and thrill to it.
I'm kind of late to the party but things would've been more exciting had they thrown some hints of love triangle. Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok looked good together but so as Yang Se Jong x Seo Hyun Jin. I thought there'd be some plot twist and I was actually waiting for it haha. Yang Se Jong's character having secret crush/unrequited admiration to Seo Hyun Jin's would've added some spice to their already chaotic hospital life. Now I know why I skipped this drama before.
Was an okay drama. It would've been more popular had they choose a better looking male lead to spice up the romance between a demon and a human (my opinion only). Still, Kim Jae young did well. And finally I was able to finish a drama of Park Shinye. The last time I sat down for any show of hers was in 2009, I was never a fan of any of her projects after You're Beautiful. And yes, just like what most have commented, she nailed 100% the role of Kang Bitna, everything was on point! Hoping she picks up or be offered with more good scripts after this. 8.5/10
The story isn't new, cliche 10x but you still refreshing to watch. I get the In Time With You vibe in this drama, best friends, childhood, family, career, girl having ex boyfriend then he cheated...Chen Bolin is just more charming esp when he smiles but Jung Hae In is surprisingly quite likeable in his character too (was never a fan of his previous works) but I'm cheering for him in this drama. I've always have a soft spot for Jung Soo Min and I know she's going to deliver. Though CP feeling is spot on, I can feel some awkwardness between them in the early episodes. Waiting to see how their romance bloom.
Honest thoughts. I liked these types of plot but the two leads, doesn't have chemistry. I can't feel any sexual tension between them, everything felt acted and forced, nothing natural. I hope there'll be some improvement. I'm still sticking with this nonetheless though I can't helped but compare it to Blood Free. But it is what it is!
