Genuinely, how much of that typical cringe humor does this have?Thing is I really like the cast, I'm already familiar…
I've also been thinking about Welcome to Samdalri, that was for me as well another one that didn't really grab me. I didn't like Shin Hye Sun's acting in it either. But she's again the very best in Dear Hyeri. I don't know what it was about these 2 dramas. I guess I found them trying to be audience-pleasing rather than relying on a solid artistic vision. Thrillers and crime dramas can be very emotional and healing, strongly agree. First Responders is a good example of that.

Me too, I've watched Something in The Rain twice. Jung Hae In was so fantastic in STR, Snowdrop and DP, this wasn't really his best role. I love Jung So Min always, and managed to finish because of them.

Two adult women fighting each other and tearing each others hair counts as "humour" here... for me that's a 10 on the cringe factor scale 1-10. Everybody understands humour differently, I like the kind of humour that was present in Bitter Sweet Hell and Killer Paradox. I don't know about the healing...there are so many better dramas out there. I barely managed to finish this one, esp. the last 2 episodes irritated the hell out of me.
EH needs to sue that psychiatrist for malpractice. She doesn't have DID. She has depression with dissociative…
HO is already an adult and people really don't change much. His contempt towards EH is related to his contempt of himself. But his way of putting her down and failing to communicate or acknowledge his own feelings stemming from childhood traumatic events cannot change. It would be awful if they end up together. HO is worn out by his carer role but he doesn't understand it and he won't stop until he breaks down. It would actually be good for him if he marries the girl who wants to take care of the grandmas.
I don't think I can watch Lee You Mi, her acting could not be worse. it's a mystery how they give her new roles after Strong Girl Namsoon. Same goes for Woo Do Hwan, wasn't Joseon Attorney enough of a flop. These choices are painful since the writer is the best (IONTBO)
This is so funny. Lee Joon Hyuk's acting is nothing short of perfect. This has good subs now. If you're wondering whether to watch or not, this gives me Better Call Saul vibes (although of course this is an original work and not in any way related to BCS). But I'm wanting Season 2 already based on the first 2 episodes!
Honestly, i'm not even interested in the situation with HO anymore. I struggle to even watch those scenes. I wish…
yes indeed. She needs to regain her professional confidence. ML is toxic to the max. His childhood is a redeeming factor but I swear that if they end up together I'll drop my rating from 9/10 to 1/10.
I finished episode 6 and I am confused about why people hate the ML... He was so kind and patient with her (because…
ML is psychologically abusive. He is contemptuous of EH and saying she's nothing, dumb and has zero talent. And next minute he's caring. That messed up her head. .
This is the drama I've wanted to see all my life. It's completely stressless, has the most sympathetic characters you can imagine and is in a very beautiful countryside setting. I watched only about 20 mins each day, because I wanted to savour the scenery and life lessons. This offers so much food for thought. I feel this was meant to be watched slowly, as it is all about slowing down and getting immersed in the essence of life, the people and nature. This drama is really the happy place we all need sometimes. I'd give it 20 if I could, because it is so unlike any other other drama and in its own category altogether. But 10/10 it is.
Ep 2 was boring and draggy. The contemplative scenes were too long. It's a disappointment, bc Han Seuk Kyu and Han Ye Ri are such great actors. I'll prob keep watching bc of them.
The camera work, blocking, lighting and building of visual tension and action are masterful. Unfortunately the…
yes. ep 2 was boring and draggy. The scenes were too long, that's absolutely true. It's a disappointment, bc Han Seuk Kyu and Han Ye Ri are such great actors.
kinda cute, but nothing special. The eng subs stop aften 1 hour, then they're back for a while at the beginning of ep 2. But the rest is understandable even with the random subbing.
