Took me 6 episodes to realize that the Korean Japanese soldier is Rang Eum...😅
I didn't recognize him at all, only through checking the actor list :)

I'm glad Netflix released 7 episodes to watch during Xmas hols. Enjoying the high-quality production and cinematography. Great acting. Prob a pain to watch for the Japanese, since there is historical realism mixed in with fantasy. Deserves a higher rating imo.

I'd need the source. Plus all my edits are usually turned down. But they must be needing new volunteers.

Great first episode. It's juste my opinion but the drama succeed where " welcome to samdalri" failed. The drama…
I was thinking the same. This is completely original. Welcome to Samdalri's goals and precedents are too obvious.

JDY, definitely actor of the year. Oasis, Daily Dose of Sunshine, My Man is Cupid and now this! Impeccable acting. The first episode is so promising!

Nooo I was like I remember this boy Lee Joo Seung and I read he's 34?!!! 🤣 No way his picture didn't get updated…
man doesn't age at all. Looks exactly like he did in Pinocchio (2014) where he also was a police

I wonder how the writer and director didn't at any point think it was weird to pair a 14 yr old with a 24 yr old.…
It's so very very weird. How are we supposed to root for them when it feels so wrong. Why didn't they just choose a 20 year old actor and say he's 16. We see 40 year olds acting high schoolers all the time (I don't mind that when it's just flashbacks).

Almost fell asleep at ep 14. This is just lame and boring. No attacks pls. Everyone has a right to voice their opinions. I love Rowoon's acting but this was just a misuse of all his charm and talent.

Title 18 Again
There are some things that need to enjoy slowly and this is one of them.
I've watched 485 k-dramas so I know. Borderline insulting comment, commenter blocked. Same director in Death's Game, he just doesn't know how to make things exciting. Dropped DG at ep 2.

A one man comments section?
I guess it's ponnu at it again dominating the comments section. I blocked him a long time ago, it's mandatory for seeing different comments from different people. I rarely go beyind the first page, that's why spamming the comment section is really bad behavior.

people rationalizing it by saying wElL iTs HiSToRy are weird too idc 😭
The cp can't marry someone that much older. Factions are based on the father, without the father, the family is no faction. Wealth and prestige are a must.

Royalty marriages were for political reasons. Male members of the royalty might have been married for political alliances to older females of another royalty. But this is the crown prince, so not possible to get married to a spinster without a prestigeous family background.

sorry, what happened to Jisoo at that age?
He shifted schools and in the new school became friends with a bully and was an onlooker. The victim and Jisoo have since worked out their relationship and become friends. But there were baseless accusations from unrelated sources of graver things which had to be resolved in court. I hope Jisoo can make a comeback since getting a lifetime sentence from something done as a 12 year old is too much. I recently watched Amanza and it was doubly sad to watch bc it might have been Jisoo's last work (he's a dying cancer patient in that drama).

On Welcome to Samdal-ri Dec 13, 2023
I think SK's dark and ruthless cancel culture is portrayed realistically in Sam Dal's case. The direct real life example could be actor Kim Jisoo. Defamation lawsuits proving innocence didn't help. People enjoy being judges. The worst thing in Jisoo's case is that he was only 12 years old when things he supposedly did happened. In the light of this, I understand Sam Dal's desperation.
