The character is the reason ,, she's supposed to be serious woman who got her husband cheating on her ,, do you…
As I said the hair really gets on my nerves. Is a successful businesswoman supposed to look like a modest mouse? It's just me, I know. I can't stand modest mouse styling.

Shallow comment but this really gets to me: another bad hair day in Dramaland with an unglammed FL. FLs should be allowed as beautiful as they can be. imo.

Well deserved, Kim Tae Ri was phenomenal in Revenant. She deserves the Daesang from Baeksang too. Am glad for Park Sung Woong too. But Park Hae Jin also should have gotten an award.

Just very predictable (just like Dreams). It's supposed to be a moving story but we don't really get close to the characters. Dropped.

Title Love, Lies
I watched for an hour and it didn't get going. Sure it's pretty but there's no tension or urgency to carry it. No excitement whatsoever (I'm used to indie films so this is not coming from an action movie fan). Dropped. Good thing people here tell the outcome. I thought Yoo Yeon Seok would be charismatic as in Mr. Sunshine, but no. Lame as.

So today read about the background of the drama, Japanese biological weapons and biological warfare program (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731),…
I also learned about this research continuing: the US government had a secret program in the 1950s and 1960s to weaponize ticks to deliver deadly bacteria to incapacitate unsuspecting populations. It is possible (& perhaps likely, though not proven) that the emergence and spread of Lyme disease may have been caused by this research program, which included large open-air testing of intentionally infected ticks on US soil. The Gyongseong Creature is bigger than ticks but that's just for drama purposes: the research was real.

So today read about the background of the drama, Japanese biological weapons and biological warfare program (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731), and it makes the drama even more poignant. After this I too feel that the should not evaluated without knowing the historical background. I didn't know before this drama that the Japanese had their own MK Ultra program. A shocking fact is that the US actually brought those crazy Japanese researchers who conducted immensely sick and cruel human experiments to the US after the war ended. Just like they brought the German counterparts to the US in Operation Paperclip to help in setting up the MK Ultra program. It seems the Gyongseong creature's father is portrayed based on this historical person: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shir%C5%8D_Ishii

I know the Japanese occupation of Korea is still a sore topic for many Koreans, I feel this series probably lead…
I would not have known about this biological warfare unit unit without the drama (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731). There are many many books about Japanese army during the WWII. I recently read the Narrow Road to the Deep North. It's worth thinking about how Japanese have tried to avoid the blame and paying settlements for the Korean forced labour until this day.

A gentle word to some of my fellow International fans. Please don't let your sadness about this news cloud your…
No you've not been following the news. The parliament has taken the stand that they continue to require South Korean celebrities to be exemplary human beings. They proudly announce that "this is our culture". The criticisms are more than valid. Do some Googling because you're just not getting the core of the issue.

RIP Ahjussi, we will never forget you. I really hope South Korean parliament who was recently (during summer) touting proudly that they will require an even higher level of exemplary behavior from celebrities will really reflect on themselves. The newspapers that publish articles in "quilty until proven innocent" style and just wait to destroy reputations should refleft on themselves. Korea JoongAngDaily which I follow is really bad in this respect. Celebrities should be allowed to be normal human beings, not lifted onto a pedestal just to be dropped to the ground and trampled on. It's too sad that we who enjoy SK dramas can't do an efficient boycott right now. If someone pens a letter to the SK parliament I'd gladly sign. This is just one sad example, I often think about actor Kim Jisoo, Choi Hyun Wook (who committed the crime of tossing trash), how Netflix cancelled all Yoo Ah In productions or cut him out. It should be finally acknowledged that this cruel inhumane cancel culture is not what anyone with normal empathy wants. Hallyu wave is not all good for South Korea we also learned about the dark side and about the inhuman predatory behavior towards our beloved actors.
