The comments actually make me WANT to watch this. Reverse psychology? lol
You should give it a try, it isn't flawless by any means, but it has so many redeeming qualities, a most interesting concept, really solid acting, beautiful cinematography et.

Yep, this drama does make you think a lot, like for example, what a difference even a single choice can make. All the characters are seriously flawed and make mistakes, including the MLs which is refreshing to see. I'm really liking the low-key romance aspect of the drama too. And there are moments every now and then when Tae Pyung goes about being a major adorable dork, adds a nice comic relief break in the story. Even though the plot is far from perfect and the cops don't follow proper police procedures which would drive me nuts with any other drama, this one has me coming back for more. Strange indeed.

I hear you. This keeps bugging me too that Tae Pyung is assuming too much based on the short snippet of events…
Ah, really important point, I temporarily forgot that part. Makes way more sense when one factors this in, thanks ^^

Agreed, it takes really good acting and writing to help you relate to so many different perspectives. I can almost see Hyun Woo as an anti-hero, rather than an over the top villain. Tae Pyung's actions though aggravating (like dude blatantly keeps breaking the law) are understandable, in terms of his mindset and where he's coming from, his intentions. Also, it's not just Seo Joon he's trying to save but the whole squad, so that's definitely adding to his urgency and his determination to sacrifice himself for the many. I really like how much there is to take in about predestination in this drama, the underlying debate on free will versus destiny.

a theory and thoughts on the drama....
I can't help but feel that this is playing out as a self fulfilling prophesy, the characters have had various discussions about this, like had young Tae Pyung not told young Do Kyung about how he dies, perhaps all this might not have happened in the first place. Also, Tae Pyung keeps taking actions to prevent the outcome he foresaw but it seems like we keep moving towards that outcome more and more because of Tae Pyung's preventive actions. Like the car blowing up gave me chills because this is probably how Do Kyung will end up with the burn scar on his face that he has when he is seen committing suicide.

Title The Game: Towards Zero Spoiler
Tae Pyung simply jumped to the conclusion that Goo Do Kyung will kill Joon Young. There's no base for that.
I hear you. This keeps bugging me too that Tae Pyung is assuming too much based on the short snippet of events he can foresee. He has filled out too many pieces of the puzzle on his own. There could be any number of explanations for why Do Kyung said that, though I guess I can't blame Tae Pyung for the conclusion he reached, based on the midnight killer's M.O. which Do Kyung has used as a copycat murder once, so he might do it again

Title The Game: Towards Zero Spoiler
Ok, they won't die. But how will they manage to survive an explosion like that?
The fire from the explosion was extinguished when the car went in the water right away. Maybe that would be the explanation, though it would be a really lame one, lol. It's obvious that both guys are going to survive. I'm more perplexed by how Kim Tae Pyung is going to avoid criminal charges this time, blowing up a car = crime, no matter how good his intentions are. Also, making the FL detective watch a car being blown up doesn't exactly equate to good intentions in my books. The ML clearly isn't in the right frame of mind, recent events and all the impending deaths hanging over his head have clearly taken a toll on him, so we have to give him a temporary insanity pass in legal terms, I dunno. This drama has so many flaws, yet, I keep coming back for more. Let's see how they spin this one.

I've just watched the first episode and loved it. I really enjoy dramas and movies in which actors are able to…
Same, I already adore this drama to pieces. I haven't watched many J-dramas, so to me, it more had a beautiful and cinematic indie movie vibe to it. Love the family and friendships dysfunction, the slice of reality, the main and side characters and the meaningful quietness that you've described so well. Im Eun Sub's dorky "I blew it" blog posts are EVERYTHING to me

This was the funniest bit, I've started laughing like crazy all over again just from these comments ^^

I think preview is changing because future is changed.
My thoughts, I don't think the previews can be fully trusted, in the preview for last week's episode I thought I saw Tae being arrested but then it never happened, I was left really confused

Title The Game: Towards Zero Spoiler
they lost me in ep 5-6. how a detective could be this stupid to reveal her source to someone she just met? and…
I was really peeved by this point too, but then later on I realized that Goo Do Kyung already knew about Kim Tae Pyung's abilities, and had in fact done the copy cat murder to show the truth to Kim Tae Pyung about his father being innocent. So as inexcusable as it is, I was relieved that at least the detective didn't provide GDK any information that he already didn't know. But yeah, it still peeves me a lot, what a way to conduct such a sensitive ongoing investigation in which the suspect was not known at the time so everyone should have been treated as a suspect, specially anyone taking an unusual amount of interest in the case. Not to mention that time the detective and KTP were having an important discussion and mentioned the time at which KTP saw the murder would happen at the hosptial, they were talking in front of the police station and GDK was in his car close by hearing everything *face palm* And when KTP first came forward with the information about the crime, he really should have been treated as the prime suspect, but they got onboard with his abilities and his lack of involvement in the crime way too easily, it was only after their chief pointed out he could he a suspect that they gave him the test. The cops should be following procedure and be a lot more suspicious. Sorry for the long rant, haha.

Title Money Game
As an Economics Major, i've been waiting for a drama like this.
I'm interested in hearing if economics is discussed in a nuanced and in-depth way in this drama and the concepts haven't been utterly dummy-fied, then I can decide whether to get into this or not. A few other people have already provided useful comments on this, but I wanted to hear an economist's point of view as well
