Yes- i liked it!It's difficult to compare with S2 since it's been years but it still was worth the watch😊I…
Have fun!
I think it really helped me that I was expecting the worst after eeading the comments (as well as recalling how everybody was disappointed with SG3). Since my expectations were low, I was able to enjoy it even more🙈
anyways, games were really good! better than squid game but still it wasn't according to expectations😭🙏🏻…
I might be wrong but all the characters in this season were fighting some sort of depression. Like with Usagi and her dad, Sachiko with her DV, and so on. Banda's role seems to be the "temptation towards death". He isn't real (I admit there is a plothole here since the cops can see the Joker card too).
The old man is the final boss- do you fight your depression and continue to live even if you lose everything OR do you find peace by feeling nothing (i.e. death).
👶- ngl I cringed at first when they made it a player since I really didn't like SG's ending but in a way I'm glad they made it a player because rather than playing the old "let's sacrifice ourselves to save an unborn life" mission, the team eventually worked together to save EVERYBODY. The gamble was interesting.
I guess since borderland is based on your subconscience AND both Arisu and Usagi wanted their child, the featus counts as being alive to them even if it's just an embryo since it's their choice? It's just like how the brother's last moment was to see his sister get married instead of a grusome moment like with Tethsu?
Guys how is it? Did you like this one more than s2 or s2 is better?
Yes- i liked it!

I know some may sound disappointed but honestly if you watch it with the mindset that Arisu and Usagi would not be in the same mindset as the other 2 seasons (since they don't remember their odeal at the end of S2), it works well.
The games were really good- quite daring specially towards the end.
As for the new characters- idk why some are so negative about them. The new cast was interesting in their own way- just need to stop comparing them with the amazing original cast. This time's theme is mentality from what I understood.
Again with the analogy and metaphors! Love how you can connect the entire season with depression and trying to fight it -to accept a life without pain (death) or to survive a world of hurt (live).
The games too were pretty insane as usual and I absolutely LOVE how they handled the 🎲 game- they didn't go for the stereotypical boring sacrifice scenario but instead dared to challange it instead🤩
Good job ryuji you made two lovers meet again , and your reward is to die 🗿.still don't undersant this kind…
He got his wish- to go to the land of the dead and keep Usagi safe. If you really think about it, a guy as curious and persistant as Ryuji doesn't need to depend on a shady shadow guy. He'd eventually figure it out on his own🙊
ktraumas would always find a way to come to us. no exceptions either
True,,,,that’s what makes this even more sad. It’s interesting how in ep 1 we see Sangyeon as this “princess” like character whereas REJ seemed to be stuck with the fate of being just another average down on luck person but boy did their destiny change based on their choices and support networks🥲

It's like with S2's ending- no memories but you have a strange sense of feeling that something happened?
(In Ann's case, she's staying at a sanitorium so she's probably more in touch with her "journey" compared to others)

I'm guessing they kept meeting up during rehab/ the study and eventually fell for eachother all over again?

The wait was indeed worth it🃏
A good lesson for us all I guess.
It's also why it's difficult to judge Sangyeon. She does some questionable things, but with the upbringing she had, it kiiiind of makes sense🫠
It'll definitely be there soon!
Urgh the father is so disgusting! Like how entitled can you be???🤦♀️
