Dropping the drama over one word is rediculous honestly- specially after they ended the episode before that by making Ando's sister look like a love interest too. Clearly the drama likes to rile up the viewers so we need to be patient 🙈

I guess one of the reasons why they complain is because in HL, the story only revolved around Sang Zhi and DJx? Any side story with the friends somehow connected back to the MC in some way or other.

Logically speaking, i don't think they'll breakup again. The last couple of episodes invested alot to gradually show how WYF is committed to Sang Yan's happiness and she knows perfectly now how badly he was hurt last time.
The trailer is probably based on flashbacks. We know that Sang Yan has been secretly following WYF throughout the years so his scenes in the trailer might also be connected to the past but now he understands what exactlt happened.

I'm curious about the step father too. The uncle exudes a dangerous vibe. Seeing as how loved the step daughter is, does she get involved in any way to get rid of the uncle once she is aware of WYF's concerns?
The mum is irredeemable but the step dad would at least listen to his own daughter right?
Or does she too choose to remain ignorant? Hard to believe though since her personality suggests otherwise - specially since she's forced to live with somebody who could hurt her too🙈

There are hints enough for the audience to know what happened, but for the characters (Sang Yan and even her BFF), it's still abit of a mystery.
Ep 24 probably will cover this in detail so that ep 25 can focus on the final confrontation.
