The general consensus is that he faked it. He couldn't really remember her but faked it.
I'm not very sure but I saw a comment saying that because she committed suicide, their red string along with his memories of her were severed.
What we do know about him is that he's a nice guy in general. Since she was so desperate, he might have just done it to humour her? And once he went to the light shop, he unconsciously projected her desperation to find his light eventhough he had no idea why he was doing it?
Alternatively, may be while he couldn't remember her, may he felt an echo of his feelings which is why he cried along with her, lamenting over their lost memories? (Not sure how severed red string can connect here but it does go with the kdrama thrope where a severe trauma makes you forget a loved one- since he was literally trying to get hold of his ring/ dreaming about their future together, the trauma could have given him amnesia)
*** I know what i said sounds so weird ๐๐๐ It's just that the last scene had so many contradictions with their story, that it's hard to believe what's true. LJY must have sensed that he was faking it or else she wouldn't have said those things at the morgue right? Her main concern wasn't that his mum lied to her but that he forgot about her. If he didn't lie, then why would she still be upset about it?
But at the same time KHM admitted to his therapist that he was told that he had a girlfriend, implying that he honestly couldn't remember her. The flashback when he waved his hand is where I'm confused because, was the scene added to hurt the audience or did KHM actually experience the flashback suggesting he might remember eventually?
Light Shop is first and Moving is second in the tl
There's a 3+ month gap between the accident and the last 10mins or so of the last episode so may be the events in Moving happened shortly after the accident?
as for me I am not disappointed in more romance but that it is becoming too cheesy. i'd like it to keep the vibe…
Wait till you see how the ML in Love Your Enemy booked several sedans for his team just so that the FL can go to their team retreat in comfort by his side (instead of a bus) ๐
is it ok to watch this series? because like iโm a deep deep fan of shinee and it kinda makes me sad to think…
The FL doesn't really stay too long in the present day (original Timeline) to really deep dive into Sunjae's depression but we do catch brief snippets of it through a news segment on their speculations on what caused his depression.
I'm not sure if that scene would be triggering to you but if it helps, the drama covers points on how kpop idols help their fans during dark times as a beacon of hope and how some fans will protect their idols too. :)
Like Hannaehh explained, when you keep watching the episodes, it becomes clear that it was never suicide (the drama is mainly in the FL's pov so we learn about it gradually along side with her- so it's a plot twist).
The idol-fan arc of the drama is also at a minimum tbh once Sol realizes their past connection after which the drama transforms into the usual "save your loved one" premise specially as they don't really give a lot of focus to his idol side.
May be try checking out a fan MV to get an idea kn the drama to see if it's ok?
Any manhwa/manga readers here? To fill the void pls suggest me some that matches the vibe of this drama. It should…
Manga : 1. My Happy Marriage (there's also a jdrama and Anime- all versions are great)
2. Taisho Otome Fairy Tale (there's an anime too)
**** Manwha/ webtoon : 1. No Marriage is Perfect (this reminds me of WTPR alot in some ways)
2. The Remarriage Contract
3. There Must be Happy Endings (this is a time travel/ second chancefantasy - bit of a slow burn but the ending is worth it. The MC has communication issues just like in WTPR. Imagine a crossover of LR and WTPR may be but with only 1 main time slip?)
4. Perfect Marriage Revenge (personally I prefer the Kdrama over the webtoon)
*** Manhua : 1. No Doubt in us (fantasy body switching involved between the couple as an extra bonus) ***
If you are into Jdramas, I also recommend "Ousama ni Sasagu Kusuriyubi" - it's fun and isn't too long (contract marriage that starts as enemies- there's probably a manga for this too but i haven't really searched)
They seriously didn't deserve that fate๐ฅฒ
No angst and a lot of fluff. But it's fun to watch since there's only 7 (25min) episodes or so.
I just want to speed my way towards Friday evening just like Sa Eon ๐ซ ๐คฃ

(Sorry didn't realize my message was soooo long!)
Friday can't come fast enough๐ซ
There's mystery, spies, family dynamics, and a couple of other poignant moments in the drama :)
Him being alive would explain how the ball is real (unless the nurse replaced the ball too) but the outfit is throwing me off ๐ ๐ ๐
If you are into super heros or have watched The Incredibles (animated) before, you'll love Moving :)

At most, may be they were tipped off that SE might be there? Or it was a coincidence that the villain took advantage of.
