Guys you need to watch this. Just hilarious๐คฃ I will never see this scene the same way again๐คญhttps://www.instagram.com/reel/C7ewghGPOda/?igsh=c25pb3lua2F0M3I5
Not only does Sun Jae remember his time with Sol for every variation of his past, he also remembers what she did…
I don't think he harmed himself in the original timeline either. In ep 9 (the flashback to Sanjae's stabbing in his room), the taxi driver first tried to drug him unconscious with a white rag but he just couldn't overpower Sanjae, which is why he stabbed him.
But in ep 1, this would have been extremely possible. Sanjae from ep1 didn't react when the bell rang. He was lost in his own world. Since the taxi driver had a copy of his suite key, he could have easily snuck in and drugged Sanjae from behind- and then push his unconscious body down the balcony.
The autopsy wasn't complete when Sol returned to 2023 the first time, so there's still a chance that it wasn't ruled as suicide.
ALSO, there's no chance in hell Sanjae would hurt himself right after he found out his beloved Sol actually cares about him and is grateful for his existence even if it was only as a fan-idol relationship. Even if he tried something, the sight of the candy jar would have stopped him.
So .. Subjae still Eclipse member then?https://x.com/leexoxee/status/1795061893704429787?s=46&t=hswbieELJxWvM-X512tGmA
Yep, he's still part of Eclipse -in ep 15, when the rest of the band barged into Sanjae's home, In Hyuk mentions how they need to discuss about their next concert.
Guess the reason why Sanjae isn't as recognized is because Sonaki doesn't exist yet in this version of 2023.
When In Hyuk finds that Seon Jae brought a girl home, "But I thought you had feelings for me..." lmao
Lmao...did In Hyuk just out that San Jae has never dated a girl and only bromanced with him?๐คฃ
Ngl, if Sanjae reinacted the beach scene with him in this timeline as well, it could easily be misinterpretted as a confession (the line about spending his brightest youth with only In Hyuk)
Hi I have a really big doubt , that keeps bugging me How does Sunjae die in 1st episode , is it suicide or murder? If…
It was likely murder.
If you look at ep 9's flashback to Sanjae's stabbing, we can see the killer tried to first drug him (he's holding a white rag). But because Sanjae was able to overpower the killer, he stabbed Sanjae.
In ep 1 on the other hand, Sanjae didn't react to the bell. Since we know that the killer had a copy of the suite key, he could have snuck into the suite, and he could have got hold of Sanjae long enough to drug him with the rag and push his unconscious body down the balcony.
Sanjae from ep 1 wasn't as mentally strong as ep 7-8 Sanjae and was also likely drunk so it would have been relatively less difficult to overpower SJ.
Also in ep 1, the last person Sanjae met was Sol- a very grateful Sol who was happy to see him, and most importantly grateful that he existed. Sol is SJ's life. He wouldn't do anything that could hurt her. Even if he tried to commit suicide that night, he wouldn't be able to go through it because of that menory, specially after seeing the candy jar that symbolizes Sol.
It's Sanjae's fate to always tangle with the taxi driver-even if it is done unconsciously. Not Sol's.Sol just…
He's your usual psycho. There's no connection with him and Soljae at all. It's just Sanjae's luck that he keeps getting dragged back to the killer's path. In the latest timeline, this was done through his Stalker. The stalker coincidentally ran into the driver near Sanjae's apartment.
It was just a coincidence that Sanjae's dashcam captured the driver's identify (but again the driver did not target sanjae bcause of this since he doesn't knoe how they found him).
It was coincidence that Sanjae happened to be having his memory flashes right on the same street the killer has to go through to escape the cops.
The driver is definitely a multiple offender since Taesung's team mentioned that he was wanted for multiple kidnappings. It's also likely he is a murderer in this timeline as well but was not caught since there's no evidence.
Can someone in whicb epi did sunjae say this "my fate is whateve past or present ot future ,i want to fall in…
It's in ep 15 only after he gets all his memories back. He did say a similar thing in ep 10 though too (remember when he caught Sol after the runaway bin incident?)
i saw a few comments comparing this drama's ML to hidden love's duan jia xu. would u recommend? how are they similar?
It's lovely- totally worth trying! The story is different but Duan is abit like Sanjae - a total loser albeit not as bad as Sanjae.
In Hidden Love also we get to see them grow up from their school/ college days, to Adult life.
The chemistry is also brilliant - ngl was a bit obsessed with it too back when it was out. The main reason it wasn't as bad as this was because cdramas release episodes 4 days a week instead of 2 ๐ ๐ ๐
Till now, it's been round and round. He ended up getting hurt every time one way or another. He's still drawn…
Isn't going round in circles/ watching eachother get hurt/ die multiple times enough consequence in itself? I feel like ep 16 is the final result of all their sacrifice ๐
episode 15 and we still don't know what the taxi driver wants with these two...or is it just me? why is he so…
It's Sanjae's fate to always tangle with the taxi driver-even if it is done unconsciously. Not Sol's.
Sol just was a variable that helped connect the taxi driver with SJ in the other timelines but isn't necessary. That's why we still got to see the Taxi driver in the latest 2023 timeline eventhough Sol didn't cross paths with him.
If you look closely, every time Sol met the taxi driver initially in 2008, it was always because of San Jae indirectly. 2009's events was a reaction to the changed fate in 2008 again because of Sanjae.
Did taesung also lose the memory of them dating and possibly him liking her ?? How so ?
It's a new timeline so nobody can really remember the past timelines since they didn't experience them in the new timeline. BUT these memories are not lost and are still a part of them- just locked up. You need a key (trigger) to remember them.
The grandmother can access all the memories because of her dimensia (her mind is too weak to stop the "memory wall" from collapsing).
Sanjae- the key was Sol's script
Taesung- probably his unusual rivalry with Sanjae and general interactions with Sol are what's making him feel things. It's still not strong enough which is why he only has a "feeling" about liking Sol ๐
in order to make them happy, they have to kill taxi driver, he has to die . only with this, theyโll live happily…
True...knowing how crazy the driver is (and how demonic he got at the last second), even if this time it really isn't Sanjae's fault (at least it wasn't intentional), he will still probably want revenge ๐
For a fantasy drama, the approach how they meshed all the memories was pretty logical ngl
Exactly! They could have really messed it but they dodged the potential plothole so effortlessly!
Even Sanjae's fate with the taxi driver- it was so subtle, but i really loved how they explained it without wasting more screentime on creating an unnecessary good samariton moment for Sanjae. ๐
We started this journey with an eclipse and looks like we will be ending it with Sonaki (ok perhaps it's not so sudden since it's been raining throughout the day this week at least where i come from) but it does feel fitting eh?
Lovely Runner is definitely entwined with fate ๐โ๏ธ๐
Sol probably would have helped- they didn't know about the barn if i'm not mistaken until Sol informed them about it previously ๐
This is gold!
