It should be safe ideally but after spending so many years focussing on her “no touch” policy, it’s become part of her life now. It’s a psychological reaction so she’s probably still not ready to touch even with gloves. Ma is just being respectful to her wishes.

Regardless if ghosts exist in their universe, she needs to tone down. The fact that he had to stoop so low that he’d rather use his colleague’s wife’s birth time than even try to reason/ have a mature discussion with her says a lot about her.

She definitely does it out of care - and probably PTSD from his near death experience- but she needs to understand that at some point Ma is responsible for his own life. Policing him will just make things worse for both of them.

Having a peaceful life is questionable considering the fact that she was already blackmailing the head madam (I can’t recall her name) using her students’ virtue as hostages. Her downfall was inevitable.

I can’t help wondering though what she was like before the Fus and their chastity BS tortured her into madness🤔 She seems quite resourceful given her circumstances.

Oooh I recall seeing a deleted scene in ep 1 or 2 where Chan accidentally/ secretly sees Ha Gi behaving quite frazzled around NDR in a car. He has this rather cold curious look. Since they didn’t add this, perhaps the screenwriter decided to go with a new direction? A less revenge fueled/ more lonely version of Chan?

Yeah the drama was too long - it would have been better as a movie. I completed the series but they didn’t really go that in dept into the guy. He’s crazy but loves his wife to death 🙈

I guess the only interesting thing I found is that “The Husband” is not just about the ML but instead it is about 2 married men who are made to face impossible life or death situations with their respective wives, and how they overcome their obstacles - no matter what🙃

Probably the inevitable love triangle? Teenage Ha Gi was pretty popular so she probably had a crush on him when they were kids. They'll reunite in ep 6-7 and her interactions will cause enough drama to forcr NDR to finally accept that she's slowly falling for Ha Gi too?
