Not blaming her btw…they were both victims of circumstances. The real villain of their story is his shitty father.

Honestly their reunion after so long feels rather realistic since it was implied that they weren't always in touch. Even as friends, when you hangout with your old HS friends and their new friends, sometimes there is this gap you just can't fill. You no longer are part of all your friend's inside jokes for instance so it can get really uncomfortable at times 😅

It takes time to get used to eachother again.

Is it worth watching? I’ve been waiting for months now to see this and was going to start over the weekend but the comments and MDL rating looks daunting. I don’t think I even so that many fan edits since it got released 🙈

WSB is her half brother - remember how her parents divorced back when she was a teen allegedly because her father’s company went bankrupt? NGL though, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they try to redeam the mother by trying to give her a Sophie’s choice backstory. Hide her daughter from t he abusive bio father as a weak attempt to protect at least one of her children.

I really didn't expect much from LFY when I saw the teasers but honestly it blew my expectations. I wasn't expecting so much angst- just thought it would be another "Speed and Love" (no hate but it wasn't for me). The leads dynamic really sold their story and the 90s vibe like you said really helped to sell the drama🙈

I guess SWL style is "tortured romantic" which is probably why these kind of scenes work for me better 🙈
L&P- idk if it was just timing but I just couldn't get past ep 4 or so. The ML in his flashbacks was kind of annoying (the actor was good but it was the character). 😅

That's so true! They don't even try to reduce his "shine" even in his scenes with the ML which is quite rare.
And I love how JYJ went out of her to make sure that YG felt celebrated. The means sucked but he finally got his break. Friends empowering friends ❤️

It's implied that the father may be influential and rich enough to escape real justice since he is well regarded in the medical field and owns his own hospital.

Even with real domestic violence and assault related cases in South Korea, the sentence is usually quite leniant. Given how deranged the father is, if they did contact the police without enough irrefutable evidence, he could escape justice and make things even worse. They'll eventually seek justice but they are not ready yet- they've just started to break from their shackles. Hopefully we will see justic before the show ends.

The fact that even someone as arrogant as CEO An is cautious around the father says alot.

I’m not familiar with her but I did like PJH in “You and Everyone else”. She was antihero in it but she did a good job at being a self absorbed b*tchy frenemy. I didn’t realize the FL in SYAWT was her actually 🙈 The promo clips weren’t that enticing for some reason.

It’s good to hear that MB, MB is doing well so early seeing as idol dramas tend to get a lot of backlash usually.

I first saw him in WD. I just adored his pompous approach to an otherwise annoying character. He probably was the first antihero I liked in cdramas in fact even more than the ML.😂 In POJ, the way he made his character seem so mysterious…dangerous and yet enticing kind of sold his character. You are supposed to loath him but it’s just difficult. The silver hair addition from his end was also really creative. It’s good to hear that he’a a nice guy in SOTPP. It will be a first for me 🙈

I totally agree with that comment on SWL. Poverty and despair agrees with him 🙈 I liked his character in Shine on Me but at times when he had happy scenes, it felt like he was acting (iykyk)? But in LFY, he was amazing! His performance was really raw like you mentioned. You’d think he actually has experience going through CY’s kind of hell 🥲 I wasn’t familiar with ZJY (L&P did not agree with me😅) but she really is talented. I loved the way she portrayed MJ

Looks like Soo Bin’s threat really did scare off the driver. The father is just way too dangerous at this point so hopefully the driver will remain quiet 🤞

You've piqued my interest with MB,MB so I'll try it! Their are too many clips out now. I didn't realize the FL was from Cashero!!! She really seems like a chameleon.🙊 I like the SML since he's quite versatile with his role- I seriously hated him in "Burried Hearts" only to feel bad for him in "Love Untangled" shortly after.🙈

Cdramas- thanks for the recommendation! I wasn't aware of YSL but it sounds interesting. I need to catch up with my existing shows honestly. I accidently saw too many spoilers with the endings for LFY and BlossomOP so both are on hold so I can watch them later this month.😅
