The fee might be too high to make them appear again 🤣. They make us expect something too major from them for…
I can’t recall the name of the program now but Sang-sik and the doctor from ep 14 co-starred with Jang Ki Yong in another drama/ variety show previously.
The ending is open ended. We don’t know for sure if she’s actually still pining for him or are they really just friends. But what we do know is that both of them are now comfortable with eachother enough to joke around in front of others even.
It looks like HY did really go abroad since before the main “years later” time skip, we get a Christmas scene where SU, Jun, Da Rim, and Da Rim’s mum have a mini Christmas party. So it’s possible she truly did leave and found closure. Personally I think they are just friends given how they filmed the scene (at least for now).
She is excellent here. She is portraying a charming, but inexperienced person, who learned how to be a hard worker…
A wartime drama that manages to keep most of the cast alive till the end is a good one in my books (yes, it’s been months but I’m still low key mad with TPOB for killing off WL)!🙈 Speaking of TPOB, LYN is in The Long Ballad as well? Your detailed “review” has caught my attention so I will give it a try soon.
TMAI! I’m out of Cdramas seeing as both anticipated dramas (Love and Speed + Shine on Me) are not working for me 🫠
Funny enough Shine on Me found me - it’s on Netflix 🙈 The introduction is too long though. I’m at ep 2 and I’m already FF through scenes and the ML barely has any scenes so far enough to even notice his acting skills).
Are the minis available on DailyM?
Hotelier - I spoke too soon. The last 6 or so episodes are pure makjang. They even managed to squeeze in a “death by cancer” thrope on one of the support characters. 😂 I can only imagine how some of the lovelies on this page would have reacted if they watched it🤣 Do I regret watching it? No (the hotel operational side was interesting/ the story was kinda nostalgic). Was I baited into watching it? Yes- shame on me for falling for a FMV 😂
If you mean Ji Hyeok, then yes, LOL. Not him dismissing his intense feelings for Da Rim during his amnesiac phase,…
IKR?! I kept getting flashback of all the complaints so I found the scene funny instead of bittersweet😹
On a serious note though I'm glad they didn't force DR to chase after JH even after he asked her not to. You need space to think. Being smothered with memories not relevant to your current version is a different kind of torture.
Come on, the writer might have butchered the main love story in the middle but they still had far superior chemistry…
Exactly. At the very least they are close enough to joke around. Even HY didn't have her usual vibe if you get what I mean. So for those who want them to be together, they might someday and for those who don't want them to, there's the comfort of knowing that HY and SU's familiarity means that HY is still friends with Jun😊
Come on, the writer might have butchered the main love story in the middle but they still had far superior chemistry…
True. Even I wanted them to be together before the love triangle was forced on SU's character.
But seeing as the writer chose to go with it, I'm glad at least he didn't choose the typical cliché where the SU suddenly realises he's in love with HY.
NGL I feel the writer introduced the SML for the sole purpose of rage baiting the audience - even the airport scene was practically a prank😅
Well i read the comments and there just about what U'd expect. This drama could have been so much more and the…
I for one am glad the second couple weren't forced into being a couple. The ending is ambiguous enough to intepret that whatever they are at least their toxic connection is no longer present. They are relaxed and happy 😊

The writer also didn't force the second couple together which is great. They are in a better position where they can joke together (instead of SU looking trapped and uncomfortable/ HY looking like she's ready to pounce). Way better than them suddenly being lovey dovey even with a timeskip.
If you don't mind : -thropes and cliches -Cinderella themed dramas -love triangles (or square rather since except for the MC, the others have one sided crushes)
- plots that revolve around lies and misunderstandings since this is the main plot
...and you don't take dramas seriously, it's worth giving a few episodes a chance and decide on your own.
The cast is good and they do try to add their own modern twist with certain thropes. You are not going to learn anything new but it's good to chill (as long as you don't take fictional stories seriously).

It is a popular classic thrope for the MC to have twins at the end though so I'm surprised they didn't go for it.
I dreaded the amnesia plot when I first saw the spoiler comments but I liked how they handled it.
Also, who knew that the real secret behind a dynamite kiss is a flaky sister eh?🤭

HY doesn't deserve to be a rebound.
(Haven't watched My Dearest yet)
Does he have a time machine? So unserious🤣
I guess Seoul peak traffic hours must feel like a KitKat break for Super Da-Rim - so yum 💪 😋
