I honestly thought they were going to give her a "self love" final arc since everything about her screams "i need somebody to love me". But now I can't imagine how they could execute it.

The mum's meddling would probably mostly be related to ending the engagement and she might not actually pursuit after poor SU- then again the Yus do not know what "no" means so who knows?😅

Fire scene- To be fair AEJ did actually lift KJY and even walked abit during the filming- they released the BTS. Being clumsy/ accident prone doesn't mean you can't be strong.

The lack of smoke/ sooth/ on them/ being too pristine after they escaped was definitely a faux pas.

I get what you mean. It's been pretty bad kdramas wise lately. Almost everything is recycled -or the landing doesn't stick.

With DK, I'm not taking it too seriously since after so many disappointing K-romcoms, this feels interesting (thanks to the artists mostly). I've pretty much given up on corporate romcoms too. Think I only watched 3 K-office romance dramas (this, Love Scout, and Our Unwritten Soul)? At least these 3 are the only ones worth remembering 😅

I really do hope DK won't face the same curse as WTPR 🤞 WTPR could do a masterclass on what happens if you don't plan ahead 😅

That's the worst part honestly- she KNOWS that he is bad news and he isn't even pretending to be nice 🫠

Her sister proved herself to be completely unreliable. If DR waited for her sister to take responsibility, they would have lost the house, the mother wouldn't recover so well, and the loan sharks would have ruined them.

Lying is wrong but there was no other quick but safe way since even the bank gave her a loan only after she was able to get the job at Natural Bebe. Seeing as she didn't want to ruin her friendship with SU over a loan, I'm guessing getting help from other family members was also not an option for similar reasons. Even JH technically forced himself into her troubles- she didn't ask for the loan.

I don't know...trying to convince the stranger you abandoned during a very 🔥 moment to be your benefactor sounds quite difficult- specially since you've already scammed his company into hiring you 😅😅😅

(I mean for most of the drama Da Rim doesn't know what we know + by the time she realized he means well, she didn't want to use him)

Honestly I'm not worried about ep 13 despite the doom and gloom that's been going on here the past few weeks. Trust in JH- trust in KTL deja vu

(KTL deja vu = to me, the KTL ML is the most recent chaebol ML that comes to mind as an example of an ML that didn't buckle down and submit to the mandotary rich ML/ poor FL breakup curse- given how JH' s famil/ situation is a lot like in KTL, can't help feeling optimistic)
