Yes! I agree with you- this is the best case scenario at the moment since it would be unfair to both characters otherwise (not to mention too careless from SU's end as a father).
Totally agree with you. Even the preview from ep 12 isn't necessarily bad. He was simply stating a fact. None…
๐๐๐ Seon U keeps messing with my predictions so you never know but given how most single parent dramas have a similar speech in one form or another, I'm hoping this is it๐
Besides we didn't see HY's reaction- so anything can happen. Let's hope for the best?๐
PS: i started Sniper ๐ฆ- I love the MC! Thanks for the recommendation.๐คญ NGL I'm actually surprised they managed to escape C-drama censorship since the flashback age gap is almost borderline risque๐
? the difference is she isnโt going after someone in a relationship with someone else. heโs got no chance…
From what I've noticed with some of the comments, the SML is fair game since it's his fault for not falling for the SFL's charm.๐
Dude needs time to move on from Da Rim before falling for Ha Yeong. She should NOT be treated like a rebound๐ซ ๐ฅฒ
Him asking HY to not to raise Jun's hopes is also understandable at least as of ep 11. The kid clearly suffers from not having a mother and the fact that HY's made it painfully obvious she likes his dad while being so awesome with him could backfire easily ๐
SU could have been more kind I guess but then again tbf HY hasn't really listened to him so far- there's probably to that scene anyway๐

I get what you mean. It almost feels like the writer tried to go for a fresh perspective with the second couple but the execution is kind of messy right?
TBF He Yeong clinged onto JH before she met SU too so it seems like her thing (hungry for affection). So we really need a self love arc. It doesn't matter if SU truly falls for her since she shouldn't be so dependant on his feelings no matter how good he is ๐ฅฒ
Jun's like her unpaid therapist at this point. We've learnt so much about her true character through him (instead of the shallow horny chaebol princess vibe we got from ep 1-2).๐
With 2 episodes left though (since ep 12 is definitely a huge no-no), I really wonder what their plan is for HY-SU๐
He seems to low key enjoy the attention now that Da Rim is no longer in the picture. He even cares about her at least a bit. Is he trying to be realistic? He already knows that her mum looks down on him even on a professional level and there's the engagement. Is he trying to be Da Rim 2.0? ๐
Best case scenario would be a timeskip i guess? ๐
Yeah, the previews kinda pissed me off. I hope itโs misdirection because HaYeong deserves much better than that.…
At least he doesn't like HY for shallow reasons. SU needs to properly spend time with her true self in the same way we saw how HY interacted with Jun, Da Rim, and JH - without being lovebombed (positively) by her.
You can't miss something/ someone unless they are gone afterall๐
Shouldn't the company PR be handling the protest instead of Da Rim smh Also the protestors protesting in the building?…
That's why the marketing manager contacted JH's sister- for her to handle the situation. But her pettyness overshadowed everything else as soon as she foundout it was Da Rim's call. That's why she forced him to delete the original recording even when he hesitated to do it. The sister was the one who invited the media as well.
Ngl for a moment there even I thought the mum would blame Da Rim for the accident ๐
I really don't understand why the writer took such a route with the second leads. The SML has been saying since…
I feel like the writer's object is for HY to understand that she doesn't need somebody to validate her love. She needs to be independant from this area.
SU's constant rejection is fair enough but HY desperately (in her own way) keeps clinging om to this "what if" image she has of him. It also doesn't help that she's been all alone most of her life.
Now that she has friends (Da Rim and Jun), she might be able to accept rejection and focus on self love perhaps? Once she doesn't need someone else's love, true romance can begin.
So Seon U rather makes up a joke about liking Da Rim instead of handling rejection and moving on? ๐ he's just…
In a way he chose the high road. Their friendship is more important to him than his love. Seeing how Da Rim reacted, it was clear she would have been super uncomfortable with him if she truly believed in his feelings. Like she said, he's her only friend.
And at the end of the day, SU still got what he wanted - Da Rim as his family (even if she isn't his wife).
I take it back - Ji Hye and TY deserve eachother - both are spineless cowards who continously choose to blame random people instead of confronting their parents.
On the other hand, it was refreshing to enjoy an episode without cringeing at Seon U's scenes again after a long time๐
is there any cheating in this show? ( I don't like dramas with cheating soo)
No but the ML spends a few episodes under the false assumption that the FL is married and that the SML is cheating on his fake wife so he ends up having an identity crisis at one point.
So no cheating but unlike with other dramas with a similar premise, this does give more focus on the consequences of cheating from several POVs.
I think the issue is with the editing of the fire? Realistically it would make more sense to start the fire in several places than just the office- it's an art gallery with very flamable pieces afterall๐
It would explain the incosistant smoke too to a certain extent- why the gallery section was more "smoky" than the office area upstairs. Should have touched up their costumes though๐

(I mean since usually these kind of protests happen outside the building from what I've seen in kdramas)
They are definitely endgame...at least an optimist open ending. It's just a matter of when ๐
The writer better not shove them together too quickly though. They've gone out of their way to make their story too complicated for a quick fix๐

PS: i know it's weird but it feels nice to speak for him for a change -I've missed this feeling since ep 6 or so ๐คช
Og but if you think about it, they can still use the affair plot since JH is still publicly "to be" engaged with HY ๐ ๐ ๐
It's even worse now since she can call out JH for having an affair and supporting a shameless fraud๐

I feel almost bad for the marketing manager since he'll probably end up being the scapegoat eventually.
