Here's my little pet peeve regarding the flasback Da rim from episode 10 when she realizes Kong Ji Hyeok's feelings…
My take was that Da Rim's lack of trust began from the point they reunited at NB? So anything that happened before the lie was sincere attraction (regardless if it's "true" love or not) but from the moment she started to lie to him, both questioned the other's actions or justified as "just business" so looking at these moments are more important?
Turns out Da Rim giving Ji Hyeouk a piggyback ride isn't unrealistic- the damsel has indeed transformed into a white knight...or as Ahn Eun Jin calls herself "Testosterone Woman"🙊😉
Would be a boring show though and the ML wouldn’t be as interesting and compelling of a character if he just…
True- it will kill the essence of the drama. I guess if the pretentious engineer didn't harrass her and he didn't cross paths with the other sicko, the ML might have not completely lost it but alas.
I guess if there was a way fpr the family and him to leave Taipei or Taiwan, life could have been better...but still not perfect since the FL will still suffer from DID 🥲
It's rather diabolical if you think about it.His mum and even the other girl personally aren't dangerous- just…
I think it was partly that but also to protect her future.
The main trio even tried to target his “new girl” just because she was dating the ML. If they found out who she really was, imagine the horrors they would plan for her? The pretentious engineer was one of the worst since he believed he was a victim but proved just how slimy he was the moment he forcefully barged into her house.
Forgiving Big K is an interesting choice I won’t lie since he was a huge reason why the ML's life was ruined. Calling it just business/ being punished with a lame leg doesn’t really balance the scales. I guess we just have to believe that something more happened behind the scenes enough for the ML to trust Big K - or may be it’s the fact that the ML is close to his family and just can’t bear to hurt hem?😅
reading the comments I could understand that pin yu, the blind girl and chi chi are also hsiao tung, her alter…
Joy represented a form of freedom Hsiao Tung can never have because of her traum. So her envy kind of manifested a persona that is similar to Joy down to her looks even.
Joy's freedom= she didn't let society's judgement of being a lesbian control her (unlike how HT's trauma left her so traumatized because she was afraid society judged her, she ended up losing her identity and even her "sight".
damn, I was hoping he would've killed his mom and Big k too. Hated that he turned himself in -_-
It's rather diabolical if you think about it.
His mum and even the other girl personally aren't dangerous- just foolish/ cowardly. The worst punishment for them is to live with the knowledge that their actions (or rather inactions) ruined lives. In a way, it's worse than death.
With Big K I guess it helped that he was the only person involved in the incident that showed true remorse and did penance. He didn't provide any lame excuses unlike the others. So death was no longer part of the equation- specially since it's obvious that he will remain feeling guilt even after the ML's death 🥲
As for the shitty bedwetter's mother? She killed her own "precious baby". All that scheming for what? She lost everything she loved and was tortured for years by the one personshe loved. A faith worse than death🙃
The FL did commit suicide at the end of the drama. And even before when she didn't have her memories, life wasn't exactly a picnic. Having DID doesn't mean you can live a peaceful life. While she didn't recall her main trauma, she still lost so much. She lost her identity and lived a half existense. She couldn't even be with her family.
The girl who was forced- she's not innocent. Abandoning the FL at the time is understandable. Shutting her mouth is also understandable as she was a scared kid. But the fact that she lied to other students about what the FL did was a very 💩💩💩 move. It was her lie that cemented the FL's future. It doesn't matter if she was coerced, she had a choice. The ML did not target her eventhough he knew she was there too so we can see his motive was only to destroy the rapists and the ringleader ballerina. We didn't see him stalk her so I am not sure why you are blaming him for it.
To the bestfriend, the girl's act was unforgiveable- the BFF was the one who kept leaking the video so the girl will finally understand what her silence did to the FL. The fact that she was willing to use the FL's tragic story to extort money makes her look worse (i know she was desperate, but to the bestfriend, this shows that the girl did not change. She still was using the FL as a shield. While what happened to her was too extreme, I'm not surprised she lost her mind. She felt guilty for selling out her "friend".
As for the ML, while what he did to the kid was unforgivable, the drama already explained what happened. During the murder spree, he was in a psychotic trance. He hallucinated himself as the kid and was trying to strangle himself. By the time he came back to his senses, it was too late (that's why the kid he strangled was wearing a vest and eye patch but the dead kid was wearing a blue t-shirt). It's unforgivable but it wasn't like he intended to hurt the kid like the way you seem to believe. In fact the fact that he refused to appeal his case for a lighter sentence shows that he accepted everything.
I watched a lot of Movie/Series about Serial Killer, lot of them was become like that because the trauma from…
He didn't realize he was suffocating a real child- he was possessed at the time and was suffocating "himself" as he too blamed himself. Only after the kid died, he realized what he did. No wonder he refused to appeal.
You raise a really good point specially since we know what the FL would have wanted. The drama must have anticipate this though since they explained why he coupdn't move on in the.last episode or so.
I’m slow or they didn’t actually explain what was going on with her? Like I know because I know the disorder…
They explain it towards the latter half of part 2 but you get clues throughout the drama.
For the FL- since her main personality is "dormant", she isn't truly aware of what's going on. That's why until each "nice" personality opens the door, chi chi is shown as a pesky room mate/ friend. (I'm guessing they truly believed she was real at least at one point).
Have you watched Split? It's an American movie. It's also about a character like this only it's worse
I do feel they didn't give her character enough growth. She was only concerned about getting caught but not once…
TMAI- you don't have to spoon feed everything to the audience. They even actually did, Da Rim literally told JH to his face several times that she keeps troubling him (and this was before he told her to get her act together). Given the circumstances, what more can she do? 😅
Honestly the actor is really good, I didn’t realize that I was watching one of his other on going dramas (Just…
There's only 1 episode left?! But there's so much to cover 🙈🙈🙈
10Mn is definitely too much. IDK why I thought a major disaster would happen that would wipe 10mn at once when they first mentioned it🤦♀️
The bald man could be itchimatzu honestly since there is no time to add a new character + he seems too tan to be Kizashi from after 2060 or so attempting to intefere again😅
Absolutely loved the episode! Only Ji Hyeok can think of buying an elaborate hanging light piece for a tiny bathroom.…
It really was cheeky 🤣
ONHCT- I actually did want to watch it but saw too many spoilers while it was airing so I'm planning to watch it later once I forget the key plot points.
It's the one with the bromance right? He can see ghosts or something like that?

Same here. Even I avoid SEs lately. I guess it helped that one of my friend's accidentally spoiled the fate of one of the characters. So I was prepared🙈
If you want to watch something light hearted by the same (adult) MC, you should watch "I am Married...but". Not sure if I mentioned it previously 🤔
Depends on what kind of romance you are looking for.(Sorry for the cryptic response- can't think of a better way…
It's romantic in the same way Romeo and Juliet is?
It's romantic but tragic because life got in the way of their innocent love/ youth. Their moments together almost feel magical given their circumstances (just like how @any_anka explained), but if your main goal is romance and you are not into traumatising dramas, I would not recommend this since it covers extremely heavy topics.
That being said, it's really worth watching. It feels realistic and is rather thought provoking. The ending is bittersweet.

She's going to hate herself and the ML again once she sees the letter🥲
Can't imagine how the parents would feel honestly unless they saw the signs🥲
It is the most realistic approach though. She might even blame herself even harshly since in her POV it was choice that changed everything.
