Chuan used to trust her sister so much, I wonder what happened to make him wary of her even when on death bed..
I believe it was explained in one of the episodes that Chuan's aware LR has power/control of the noble houses which means indirectly has power over him/the Emperor..so essentially, she's even more superior than the Emperor. This makes him a puppet ruler, always under the thumbs of the noble houses as was his late father. So when the people he wanted to protect slowly died or taken away, he also lost his kind self.
I think the essential difference between PWX and LR, concerning their relationship is that in the past, LR knew…
Does PWX really not know his own feelings ? Or is it he thinks LR doesn’t love him but loves SRQ instead , thus he doesn’t want to force his one-sided love on her? I didn’t read the novel, so.. I don’t know. Maybe he’s a little of both…
I like kunning more. It’s not the actors/actresses. They are all great in both! I just feel that the scriptwriter , director, post production /sound teams here is one notch below Kunning’s . I still very much enjoy watching this.😀
Qin Zhenzhen actress is very beautiful soft and elegant 😻
She has great chem with the Crown Prince. Additionally , she brings life to her character as the daughter of a military general/family - skilled in martial arts and free spirit.
I'm up to the latest ep 10. He's exhibiting signs that he has "knowledge" from the past. We just don't know if he's a good or bad guy. I want to believe that he's a good guy because what happened to him and his family in the past was rather tragic.
PWX has unresolved feelings for LR. He still cares for her greatly, enough to give her anything or pave the way for her happiness in this life. So much that he even creates opportunities for her to be with SRQ so that she can re-explore her feelings for SML. PWX is thinking that she doesn't like him romantically, so just let her be happy with SML.
But I hope it won’t end up with a scene showing that the whole drama is just another story from a book. Kunning…
I really don't mind how they end it as long the journey is a wonderful one. I've watched Kunning Palace and loved it! And to be honest with you, I don't even remember that it's just another story from a book. =)
I have yet to watch but FL costume and styling doesnt seems like Han Chinese, what is her character ethnicity…
She's Han Chinese from observation. However, they are using wood/bamboo instead of paper, so this places them in a very early dynasty or era, which means before ultra fancy clothing that we normally see in cdramas such as Tang/Song/Qing. Bamboo/wood were used in 200 AD period. She looks very imperial and elegant in some scenes.
I’m feeling the same way. It’s the hook that’s keeping me on. He’s hiding something that caused the misunderstanding,…
Maybe she felt that he turned that way because of what happened to his family. If she were to save his family, then his psyche and character wouldn't have gone down a dark path.
