Ni Lun is the name of the former Demon King whose spirit is imprinted onto the sword that Wan Jie carries that also now lives in Wan Jie's body. Once BuFu turns demonic, he's called Wan Jie. So, I suppose you can say Wan Jie is a shell filled with Ni Lun's demonic aura yet retains some of BuFu's consciousness.

I'm dying from laughter when the aphrodisiac fruit takes affect. So awesome with the camera work and sound effects on reality vs surreal views. Wonderful performance! I love this couple! I can't wait until ML actually exhibits the perceived charming side when he's in love with her. Talk about what a suave charming smile he has.😂😀

So many funny scenes including brain freeze from pure air, mock-duck concept food, bath scrubbing. The production team is so creative.

Inorder to save Keran, the person he loved, BuFu got possessed by the demon spirit from the sword. His body became a vessel for the former Demon King/Lord until the spirit can find the rightful owner to yield its power.

I thought it's pretty nice. It gives FL some pizzazz to match her bold and sassy personality. Additionally, I believe the make-up/wardrobe team for The Starry Love series probably worked on The Blue Whisper as well. It's directed by the same director and he seems to work with the same people behind the scenes. Some characters in The Blue Whisper also had colored eyebrows.

I'm watching both at the same time: ChongZi up to ep 6 and Starry Love up to ep 2. But if I had to pick one, I enjoy The Starry Love more even though it's only 2 episodes in. It seems like a few others expressed the same sentiment on the Starry Love MDL page.

I don’t find anything wrong with his voice. It’s rather a nice touch in his current status of “ I don’t feel much” attitude.

So far, he’s decent. I LOVE the ml in Ashes of Love.

I notice his non-emotional voice and agree it’s so fitting. I saw a preview of this drama showing he plays other roles later. It’d be interesting how much his tone will change.

I feel LBFAD is a bigger budget project, so it has more resources in term of costumes, settings, CGI. Color grading in LBFAD is also richer and more lush, thus I admit it's a nicer palette. However, I find myself skipping so many scenes that in the end, I didn't even finish it. So far, The Starry Love is delivering and I look forward to this series. Give it a try!

Chu Bufu and Wan Jie are the same person physically, but Wan Jie is the demonic version. He's a vessel of the true demon king spirit at the moment. Although Wang Yue seems to be heading the demon sect now, he's not blessed with the true demon power that resides in Wan Jie's body. That is my understanding so far.

I've been laughing over ep 1& 2. So, at least it's therapeutic in that sense.
