Just saw ep 11 preview. Up to this point, I love how LC is so focused on making things right with their second chance romance. He's not beating around the bushes. He's laid it all out to her about his intentions and plans, debt payoff schedule, timeline to marriage, explained to her not to overthink or misunderstand when he's away for work and out of reach for days at time. As a man closing in onto his 30's, which means hers, too, time is precious, and there's no point in dallying. It's such an honest romance. I really appreciate his strong morale and upright ethics in how he handles everything: friendship, camaraderie, god-father'ish role, family, love, and others.
How dare Lu Chen to say one of the most romantic things ever which is "I'll remember you even if i turn into ashes"…
That makes it even more angsty; to have said and yet remained aloof. She couldn’t get a good read on him. And to us viewers, we’re dying to know what happened that led them to this stage.
Anyone can shed some light is it just me or the subs in ep 8 is wrong where the Convo between lu Chen and dad…
It's his biological father. In one of the episodes, it was explained why Lu Chen's name was changed to Lu Yan Chen. At school, the name Lu Chen was too common and there were duplicates, so Yan was added to his name to prevent confusion.
Lu chen (10 years ago) : “Do you like me”?(10 years after) : “Do you still love me”?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆This…
I was so moved at the "do you still love me?" scene. He clearly still has strong feelings for her, and for someone like him to ask that question after so many years, you could feel he's on the verge of trying to fight for their relationship.
Does anyone know where shooting took place and/or which remote region is the setting for "Qining"? Beijing is…
I was wondering the same where Qining is and couldn't find any info on google map since I can't type Chinese. Great that @PeachBlossomGoddess is able to confirm on Hemu. I love Chinese dramas that shoot on site at different locations all over China so we can see other parts and culture of the country.
This drama would have been wasted in less talented hands. Thank the drama gods! It's all about restrained, suppressed…
I was thinking the same!!! Nothing much is happening but so much is conveyed at the same time! Indeed this drama would have been wasted in the wrong team.
Just finished 1st episode, and I'm already captivated by the leads and storyline. There are so much suppressed emotions and unfinished business between these two. I love Seven and Jing Boran! They make such a great couple. Looking forward to enjoying The Road Home.
Han Yu’s being in the dark til even the 11th hour had me chuckling. When Yuanqi said to him regarding Xiao Han,…
He’s so gullible and simple minded… also a major reason why he’s not a good fit for He Ran as a couple. She’s just too deep for him. He would never understand her. He makes a decent friend to have.
Gui Xiao: "Be Honest. Did you fall in love with me at first sight?"
Lu Chen - leaning in: "How is that possible?"
Hahahahaha...I can't stop laughing. I, myself, are falling in love with them both individually, and as a couple.😍
