She has confessed her feelings for the man, kissed him, spent time with him and he has reciprocated. Why does she keep calling him “ gamdog nim”. It’s unnerving. Is it a thing in Korea.? Like you fall in love with a MD / Doctor and you keep calling them Mr. Doctor. Hmm…at least she hasn’t launched into “Oppa” territory. That would have been totally off.
Immature sappy writing. It didn’t give me enough to be invested in it from the start. There’s no development or progress just stand alone occurrences that tip themselves over and right themselves on their own. I seriously thought it would get better near the end … but no. I am currently watching this drama and I have to say Byun Yo Han is of course brilliant as the protagonist but ... Ko Jun.... his aura is everything. He is just crazy good
An unoriginal, tropey hot mess. The jealousy angle from the actress herself was a hard pill to swallow, considering her former flame (the director) has been very direct in shooting down her advances. While her current boytoy sits by her side while she is oggling and eye balling the director and passing pointed comments. Man doesn't seem to have a spine, and we are to believe he is the hottest actor in town. Then we have an old "first love" introduced, who seems mid at best. Meanwhile, the FL (who looks terribly old to be playing a 25 year old) has these bouts of aegyo that make you go cringe. Finally, Lee Jeha. He is like a weird guy. Isolating the lady from everyone, while lingering about in her orbit with mixed signals and lingering stares. You are her boss. You are coming across as a groomer. It's weird he had a fling with the actress of his first movie and then dropped her like a hot potato (cos he wanted to make different choices than his dad). And now he is suddenly getting drawn to this girl for no reason. We have been given no reason whatsoever as to why he has suddenly gotten the love bug because of this awkward dying girl.
Also, now we have to see a short version of mean girls unfold cos the veteran actress and the old college friend are ganging up on poor Lee Daeum, who has a perpetual tear hanging from her left eye as she smiles and swallows the bitter pill. While an agent chases her to the nth degree just to sign her cos in her professional life she has never gotten a rejection from a prospect she was trying to sign to the extent that she has hired a private detective. She wants to hire a talent who never got anywhere other than bit parts before this gig. If she was that great of an actress why didn't the directors who audtioned her for bit parts recognize her "beauty that most film directors want" and acting talent? Lacks inspiration.
