LOL I spent episodes 1 - 4 analyzing all their interactions too because at first I thought she was just trying…
There was that particular scene in ep 2 where she dismissed both her husband (the king) and son (the crown prince) as weak because they each lacked the regal qualities she was raised to esteem, followed by her assessment of her brother-in-law (the grand prince) as an ideal example of those desired qualities. So she can't help but wish the brothers' roles had been reversed.
Here I see some slightly silly comments ☺️ so let me say this:If you’re watching Perfect Crown like it’s…
If the powers that be didn't want us to over-analyze each and every detail then they wouldn't have given us this forum to do so. And they especially wouldn't torture us by dragging this show out with almost a week between episodes, leaving us with nothing to assuage the angst but speculate!
So is Prime Minister Min the leader of the country - just being clear he's the head guy? "Cause he doesn't…
He's the top dude for politics, but remains a servant to the crown. His was appointed by the king, not elected. (This is not a democracy.) The Min family has served in this capacity for generations. He replaced his father as PM. https://mydramalist.com/character/min-jeong-u
Its Jin MU, from the noble family, grandfather of the king. He might have hired top chefs to make them in his…
Doh! I forgot. The royal kitchen has been serving fast food ever since head chef Kim So Yong invented Lucky popsicles, Dragon-whisker fries, & MacDonalds! 🤣
I can't help but wonder, from what palace-approved restaurant is Yun Seong Won (aka Jin Mu) getting those Korean corn dogs? I'd hate to think he was purchasing them from a stall down by the Han river!
I've asked myself - where is the money coming from to support his law practice? He drives his mom's working truck,…
I've also speculated previously that he should be getting some portion of the royalties paid to the estate of that songstress. Lawyers usually get 30%. Agents & managers 10-15%.
I don’t know that she wants to eliminate Taeju from getting any inheritance at all. If so, that would be wrong…
This! She also obviously cares about the company and it is not unreasonable for her to want to prevent her brother from running it into the ground like he did that division he was placed in charge of—which would have operated successfully by itself—but died as a result of his incompetent interference.
Once again, this drama script is not making sense to me. Hui Ju is supposed to be super smart and is constantly…
I would expected her to have learned something about how the royalty operates while earning high grades and honor flowers at the royal school!
Another thing the royals never do is marry commoners. So if the grand prince can void that unwritten law, why couldn't his bride ignore the no-work stigma? And have we ever seen the FL fall to peer-pressure or give in without at least making an effort to make things go her way?
wow! okay, after the first 2 episodes I was like "its okay" after episode 3 and 4, I'm just like "Jin…
I've begun to suspect that Jin Mu may be a ploy to distract us from the real villain(s). His appearance is deliberate. The actor does not typically sport a goatee IRL. His profile photo resembles a kind grandpa. It is obvious that the production deliberatrely cast him and costumed him to make us all think of the villain Jin Mu. Either this is to spoon-feed us melodrama, or it is a cleverly designed feint to distract us from an upcoming twist. 🤷🏻♂️
I hate to admit it, but I low-key agree with you. Her love-bombing the grand prince is not a good look. It reeks of desperation & insincerity.
The FL's behavior is consistent with her emotional immaturity due to losing her mother at a young age and a grievous lack of affection & attention from her father. Just like the grand prince. She and the ML are each other's mirrors in this regard and they can understand & relate to each other better than anyone else could ever hope to. May their wounded hearts be healed by their shared love!
I feel like after Hui Ju finds out her car was tampered with that she will look into the royal family. She was…
From prison? Where she will be held & tortured for kidnapping the king?
Also, either the queen dowager's father is indeed a villain, or the production casting that actor and giving him a goatee like Jin Mu was an intentional misdirect to make us suspect him, when the true villain is someone else all along! (PM Min, maybe?)
