Somewhere over the rainbow...

Since you dropped it, you might have missed the nuances of their relationship. She did not bully or manipulate…
Thank you for explaining this to me. I do appreciate it. Still I could not help feeling sorry for the boy who was no match for the girl in "teasing" department. Their dynamics actually made me really sad and uncomfortable...My bad! I guess just like any teen they are figuring life and love out, by trial and error. Anyway not my cup of tea ...

This is the third drama I started this morning and I finally found something good to watch....My not interested list is going to be longer than the completed one soon!🤣🤣🤣

They are cute actors but the character of the girl is literally bullying the boy with pranks. Not funny or sweet at all! 😱 Dropped! Well the girls do mature faster than the boys: she is manipulating him while he is all confused and helpless in front of her.😱Or I am just a cynic who cannot see the pangs of first love?

BTW Why are there only small white trucks on the roads of this little town?

The first episode: a hairdresser with bad hair. She wants to be a hairdresser but she hides behind long bangs scaring everyone. This looks more like a horror drama....Smelly feet too... Horror, I'm telling you!🤣🤣🤣Dropped!

Why are Disney, Netflix & co so hell bent into turning single season k drama format into US multiseason format? It is a rhetorical question, mind you! Money, money, money.....

To change or not to change? We feel safe when things are the same, even when those things are bad, the routine is good... We do not like the unknown, the outcome of a change is a mystery. Will the change be for the better of for the worse? The young man is frozen inside: he refuses to feel anything because it may bring about a change and that is scary. A chance encounter over a cat makes him slowly see things differently.
I did not quite understand it but there is some amazing acting here and for that alone, it is more than worth the time spent....

Daisy Li, the queen of short c drama!

Great drama.... If you are watching the full version on youtube, it is missing the epilogue so don't forget to watch the post credit scene of ep.22!

Your comment made me add this movie to my watch list, to see how bad he was, because that same year, 2007, he…
He is one of my favourite actors, my first "drama crush" and he is usually outstanding. But here, I almost dropped it because of his grimacing and jumping around like a 5 yr old kid and not a 17yr old teen. I was really surprised ....

I'm reading the comments here and the conclusion I am drawing is that they had great chemistry(i.e. NC scene was hot!) and everyone loves them. Point. Nobody's talking about the plot: it soes not seem important....

I like ghost stories and I was going to watch this as soon as I made certain that there is a happy ending. But...What…
But still...what's the point of dating someone you cannot see?!?!?

It was a happy ending, but is JW really going to stay in a relationship with a ghost she can't see? Is not that…

What kind of nonsense ending is this: "stay in a relationship with a ghost she can't see?"?!?!? Is this what really happens?!?!? Really?!?!?

PS I love your profile gif: where is it from?

I loved the first season but could barely finish the first episode of the second! This here is a proof that there should be no second seasons for K dramas. Usually a very bad idea and every time a disappointment!

Thank you!A lot of people are very easily embarrassed then, much more than I am. Because a lot of times I find…
Since it is a vampire drama I kind of expected them to stick to usual vampire tropes but apparently it is not the case here. But they seem to have given it a Buddhist twist, reincarnation etc. and even though it sounds interesting, I am not sure I would appreciate it as I should. I usually like these quirky dramas and I love this director's works (I Will Knock You is an underrated gem!). I will probably watch this one day, your detailed review almost convinced me to give it another go today. Maybe next week..

Cringe or the second hand embarrassment is when characters are willingly doing humiliating and embarrassing things so much so it makes the watcher uncomfortable. That is how I understand it.
Nice review. Very eloquently written and argued convincingly.
I watched the first episode which I quite liked but when I checked the ending, I did not like what I heard.... It sounded too much like the ending of Doctor, I'm Coming For Soul which I hated.

Why can't he turn him into a vampire and stay together forever instead of waiting for him to die and reincarnate?

I was debating whether to watch this: I am over my vampire phase but you mentioned the director so I checked out his work. He actually made a few dramas I really enjoyed so I will be starting this now. Thank you for the push in the right direction!🥰 I am looking forward to the rest of your review!

I think it's cultural. Unlike westerns, asians are less individualistic and have stronger sense of community.…
That is how I understood it so thank you for confirming it. I can't help but feel sorry, especially for those young adults, when they are used and abused by relatives in the name of "respect and obey your elders" even when those "elders" are only a few months older...Helping each other and being taken advantage of are two wastely different things.
