Could you give us a definition of a web series please? I do not consider ANY of these dramas as a web series just because they were streamed on huge platforms who have become just like a normal TV station (Netflix has ads now and a direct programming!)! For me, web series have much shorter episodes and are made on smaller platforms(YouTube channels for example!)! All these series are very mainstream!!! But I must be wrong since.... Anyway, interesting and unexpected article!
A very good, slow burn office drama with (fortunately!) zero romance! The plot is tight, but very hard to follow since it uses a lot of accounting terminology so I was lost a bit....But the cast was amazing, Im Si Wan on top with his innocent looks, a dazzling smile and piercing eyes! A cute fluffy fantasy romance with a splash of OCN serial killer mystery. The main actress is brilliantly playing a split personality character, a FL who is not annoying for a single second which happens almost NEVER in K dramas....
Personal opinion - it's pretty weird and too long. Would have worked better as a movie. Acting and cinematography…
That is exactly the impression I have: a story for a movie but too boring for an 8h series! I will try it, that's for certain, once the hype had died down!
I like the music the most: sweeping and highly melodramatic, it manages to slightly cover the total lack of chemistry between the leads in this 9min pilot/trailer. Pretty flower as well!
Nowdays good BLs are so very few and so far between...this one is written by Mame who is famous for everything you write about: bad story, lack of consent, stalking and soft porn! After TharnType, I keep giving everything she writes a wide berth! Thanks for the review! After all the rave ones by other viewers, it is nice to read something reasonable!
