Amazing cinematography and fights choreography! And the OST....I still listen to it, event two years after watching the drama and it still gives me goosebumps! A memorable drama but I would not watch it again, the ending broke me!
I seem to be the only one around here who liked the first LM better even though it was done with less money and was clunky but it was more angsty and rough. The new version was too long, sometimes boring, I felt everything was watered down, the characters and the story. The actors are amazing but that's it! A good single watch!

For a moment I thought he was Tae Soo Mi's son, trying to be independent from his mother! That would have been a twist, a predictable one I admit, but still better than nothing! What a wasted opportunity!
So I started watching this a couple of days ago and it is sweet and cute. But! What's Jun Ho deal? Be pretty and stand still? He is just there, vaguely....and he is easy on the eyes! So, is there some deep, dark secret about him?

Too crude and too annoying! I know it is a drama but I like the characters to be at least believable ! Here it is not the case: she's just OTT not convincing! This kind of humour is just not my cup of tea! Anyhow, that is just my opinion!
I watched this twice, recently and I have no memory of it: what it was about, why the title or anything! Unremarkable! Just like you explained in your review! And I like the director because she made To My Star.... Now she's making the sequel of this as well!

Stranger is one of those super hyped dramas that I was happy to have watched but have no significant memory of it a few weeks afterwards. So I am always happy when I read not a fan but a balanced review! Thank you for your concise and tho the point article!
Thank you for this! Goblin was one of the first dramas I have ever seen and I could not understand why I hated it so much when everyone seemed to love it! Everything you said, i noticed: the age gap, the creepy behaviour, the giggling child ...Even the second couple, though more "reasonable" , I found lacking chemistry! Actually the only really good chemistry and , overall, the only good thing in this drama is the funny bromance!
This begs for a sequel featuring the kids, Umi and Sora, 15yrs later: they meet, fall in love, realise they were childhood sweetharts, problems arise....the usual, classic plot!
