A hard core binger myself, I need the drama to have finished airing to avoid being disappointed with the ending. I do miss the possibility of dissecting episodes as they air but since there are so many dramas and so little time (work, you know!LOL!) I want to waste as little of it as possible!I read what the people are saying on the feeds to get the feel of the drama and very often it goes from the best ever to draggy to lost opportunity to make something good to the general sigh of disappointment! But when I watch I watch at normal speed, NEVER speeding through and savour every moment of it! Another great and fun article! Thanks Shiro!🥰
Oh no! I was going to watch this because your review is so well written and convincing and then I came to the penultimate phrase:"with closeups of the characters and sometimes exaggerated facial expressions for comedic effect." and was so disappointed because this is what makes me drop japanese dramas every time I see it! It definitely is not as bad as people are making it out to be, you are so right! It is not a masterpiece either but it is a good watch better than most of recent thai bls. I did not think that the episode 0 was amazing as the most of the viewers did so I was not disappointed with the series: for me it was just the continuation of the same!
I started this fully expecting not to like it and drop it after the 1st episode. And here I am, three days later, finishing the last episode. Surprisingly excellent !
It looks as if producers decided to turn a bad boy/girl drama screenplay into a bl because there's more money there(since us bl fans would watch anything as long as it is bl regardless of quality!🤣) Just look at the way Dao behaves: he is your typical annoying, stupid and silly FL.

After reading all the comments about how this is probably THE worst drama ever, I decided to check it out( pun intended!) and the thing that stood out was the soundtrack: there are some great songs in ep. 1. Episode 0 was remarkable for the same reason( Adelyn Paik's Our Song is playing on repeat on my phone for months now!)....
