Hey, someone pls guide me if i the story in this drama a continuation from some other series or is it a freah…
This drama is a reboot or extended version of En of Love: Love Mechanics starring the same cast. There are two other En Of Love but they are inconsequential and bad so you do not need to watch them. You can watch the first Love Mechanics from 2020 in order to compare it to the new version but nothing much is different save for the length...
This is nice, unassuming little drama, not half bad which does not deserve such bad rating and the main lead Tee who's playing Latte, is extraordinarily good! And int the last 4 episodes (filmed after covid break!) there are some lovely shots of the sea and sunset! Only problem are the awful subs(google translate probably!!!)
Can't help it: I think the first version 2 yrs ago was better with all its flaws, plotholes and iffy production. Mark was sharper and more decisive and Vee was a jerk trying hard to be better but failing miserably. Here Mark is a quivering undecided wimp and Vee a cute idiot in love. They both lost a lot of strength in this extended version.
Another gem by WayuFilmProduction! Will someone please give this whole crew a huge round applause! Imagine what they could do if you give them more money! This proves it, once and for all (like their every other production), that you do not need huge budgets to make a good movie/series: extremely well written, the actors are so amazing and everything flows smoothly!!!!! WOW!
Let me see if I understand this mess correctly because the synopsis up here makes no sense. Tae and Nam share a house. Tae is a footballer and gay. Namwen is a parfume designer and is in love with Tae's football friend Q who considers her just a friend because he is having a secret affair with Bhu, another footballer/coach. Tae has a crush on Bhu and makes a wish on a stone Nam gave him. The stone is magic and it turns into a very hot looking Cupid, Nite, who came to grant him the wish to fall in love but not with Bhu. Tae ends up falling for Nite. During a football match, Q tackles Tae who ends up hurt and has to stop playing for a month. This is what happened in first 4 episodes. I wonder when is the café going to come into play? Edit: Tae and Nite end up spending a lot of time together aware that time was limited. In the meantime all hell breaks loose when the secret relationship between Q and Bhu is discovered. Tae is agngry with Nite who knew about the secret and said nothing. Eventually they make up and kiss but Nite disappears and then Tae mopes around for a while looking for him. So he goes for a vacation to the seaside to heal his broken heart and meets another Nite(who never tells him he is the original Nite in another form) and falls for him! Insert some lovely cinematography! The end! NB There is no working in a café for Tae or any form of physical therapy...
Are you supporter of cancel culture? The same one that tried to cancel Johnny Depp?
I was being sarcastic! Cancel culture is the worst thing that happened in today's society: a person says, or even worse: is thought to have said/done something, which vaguely seems insulting to someone and that is enough to ruin that person's life! Overreacting much, snowflakes? Discussion, contrary opinions etc. are not welcome today: everyone is asked to think the same! There are cases of people and not only famous ones, whose lives have been completely ruined for not thinking as is demanded, ordered nowdays! This is driving me mad!
Correct at every point! Dropped! I just could not finish the ep.9: it had become extremely awkward, unconvincing and as you say, it felt flat with zero chemistry. Not to mention plot incoherencies and the total lack of humor. Disappointing!
Awkward, so awkward! This friends to lovers story does NOT work! They are great as friends not convincing for a second as lovers.... The tall guy keep kissing his friend when drunk but is shocked when confessed to, only to dive deep into the relationship after a few drinks with a bartender! What a waste!
I started watching this today after reading your cute review especially since I needed something light. But this looks so much like Hometown ChaChaCah with its isolated town, fish -out -of -water main character together with his/her arrogant attitude towards the quirky locals.I hated it and I dropped it after 4 ep of cliches and tropes ad nauseam. This looks the same! Tell me it is not, please!
I am loving this drama, makjang with a fantasy twist, some great acting, good music and a couple of amazing FLs... I don't know why, but every time I see a character in an underground parking, I expect them to be attacked by the bad guy's henchmen!🤣 It never happened though...but those places are so ominous looking!
I am rewatching the first, 2020 version of LM (while waiting for the last two episodes...)and I am struck by the actors' youth. They have all matured and changed so much over two years....
Never heard of him but I read your article nevertheless and listened to Big Fish.....I had goosebumps all throughout the song! What a voice! Thank you for this discovery!
