Country bumpkin...so true! I guess opposites attract... This drama confirms the saying: it is so awful that it's good! I wanted to like this drama so much but I've been fastforwarding through while surfing on mdl. Everything is so wrong here: the story is unbelievable, the characters are artificial, the acting is non existant, the writing is stinted and the editing is all over the place. Definitely THE worst HIStory ever! Or a spoof of gangster/bl dramas. It is too ridiculius to be taken seriously!
Thank you for this review: it explains why this is not a 10/10 drama. All those rave reviews are a drag...You are right: this is a romance thet should have taken place elsewhere. The writers are so lost in this genre: action, cops and robbers are so unconvincing....
Frankly it's a better far more consistent show than Flower of Evil. And there are plenty of gray characters.
Two main leads are good, not remotely ambiguous(maybe for about 5 min in first two episodes). All the bad guys are bad (politicians, builders, some policemen...the usual). Who is different? What is original here?
The hype behind this drama reminded me of the same hype Flower of Evil got last year. Both dramas are excellent but have nothing to do with what they sold us. Both promised us gray characters and we got classical good and bad.
I've just started this, my first Thai drama, following friends' recommandation. It looks ridiculous, over the top, full of clichés, bad acting, so 80's Dynasty... I think I'll pass!
Don't need a second season just the last scene. To wrap the story up. And then maybe another drama starring IU and LJG: their chemistry was off the charts...We can only dream.....
I just finished watching Misty and we have not seen the same drama! I liked it because of all the reasons that made you hate it and find flaws with it mainly the fact that not everything was said but hinted at most of the times so you just need to pay attention to what you're watching in order to understand the whys ans whereofs of characters' decisions and behaviours! Romance was perfect! Tragic but very realistic considering Go Hye Ran's character: strong, independent, smart and honest woman, who takes no nonsense from others and demands the best from herself as wall as from the people around her. She assumes her choices and stands by her decisions. In the male dominated world, the men are at loss because with her they can't use the old cavemen behaviour: weak woman, must protect! This was an extraordinary drama! The ending couldn't have been anything else!
It started really well, I was captivated by the story and the characters but then it lost me halfway through, amongst other things, the chemistry between the main leads was bad....In spite of that, the movie was way better than the drama series.
Episode 9: why complicate a murder investigation with another big corporation corruption,collusion and conspiracy plot? I feel this going downhill fast! But fortunately I was mistaken! How frightening a strong, smart, honest and independant woman is to men who are not needed to express their cavemen mentality: weak woman, must protect! Great drama with strong female characters. Nailbiting plot, great discreet music, just perfect acting by everyone! I am just blown away!
How am I the only one who dislike Hye Ran but love Eun Ju?
Yes you are! Eun Joo is a horrible, bitter person. Why would you like her?!? Hye Ran is straighforward, sincere and honest. She has secrets and a past: who doesn't ? She cheated: a couple of kisses...please!
