whatβs up with the weight comparison I donβt get it
It seems that answering queries isn't the OP's strongest suit. It's lovely that you cleared up the responder's confusion. It'd be better for all of us to have a bit more grace and less condescension.
Despite all its flaws, I really liked this one. This show had a lot of unexpected laughs. However, they could have shown both the couples engaged or married after the 3 year jump. Loved the ending with all the lab members. Loved that the rookie colleague at the start of the series has his own rookie following him around. To be honest, this show turned out to be miles better than I had expected it to be post watching the first episode. π
The most unbelievable part to me so far is the fact that Hui Jin said Ki Se tried to break it off before he went…
I think Ong Ju was hoping he would come to his senses and not go through with the wedding, and thereby not break up with KMG. Tbh, they could have made her dilemma more realistic. It's indeed a writing flaw.
I think I might in the minority for liking this drama much MORE for allowing the ML to have 100% done wrong in…
LMAO, yes! Also, I am glad that he feels bad not only about KMG but everyone else that he ever fired because such a realisation humanises, and to a degree redeems him.
I seemed to have forgotten the part where the drama discusses Baek Ho's connection to the Wonhan family. I know he's indebted to them. But can someone explain when exactly did he end up with them? Which episode?
Why LSH's scenes??! Why not crop the problematic participant out? It should not be that difficult. Or use background…
What's the tea? Wasn't LSH pretty straightforward since the beginning? That's my takeaway from the very few of his interviews that I have ever watched. I don't usually watch variety shows or follow anyone, so I don't really know. However, to be honest, interviews are hardly telling of how anybody actually is. Is this show still worth watching?
I've seeing the comparsions for weeks, and I have to say: this is nothing like Brewing Love. The story takes a…
^This! I didn't enjoy Brewing Love and kept skipping through the episodes. On paper, BL should have worked, but it just didn't. I cannot even fault its execution, yet, there was something missing and I have no idea what. I was so disengaged throughout its entire run. The only reason why I persisted is because of the presence of the female leads. Love them both, and the SFL simply doesn't get enough roles. I, for the life of me, cannot spot the similarities. Unless, one is emphatic about the similarity of genre, i.e., slice of life based in the country side. Even so, this is more romcom than slice of life.
Ditto! To the extent that there have been times that even bad grammar and syntax have prevented me from enjoying a particular song, LOL. As long as I am blissfully unaware of the bad syntax, it doesn't bother me. However, once I know, I simply cannot seem to forget about it. π€£ On further thought, the singing quality also matters to me. As far as genres are concerned, any song or piece of music that catches my fancy is my jam. I am into classic and alternative rock music. The only Pop music that I like is western Pop from the '90s and early 2000s like songs by BSB. On a regular basis, I usually listen to rock bands from the '80s like GnR, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Africa, etc. or from the early 2000s like Green Day. I listen to a lot of music from my own country as well.
You read my mind. I used to be like that. Used to love everything doom and gloom. Used to see sadness on screen as an extension of my own lived experiences given how unhappy I was. π However, my circumstances didn't change, which in turn made watching fictional characters not having a HEA difficult, LMAO. I guess that is when I became a sucker for happy endings, no matter the number of plot holes to reach such a conclusion. π
P.S.: Absolutely love JDramas, from the wacky to the serious.
Thank you so much for your reply. π I had an inkling, given how sombre the quote is. There was a time when I could accept sad endings. π’ I cannot anymore. However, I still love dark stories. The quote is just too poignant which is probably why I am willing to watch it. π P.S.: Nobody does the depiction of sadness as beautifully as they do in Japan.
Oh my! That's worse. I like KW as an actor too. However, this drama seems to be a mess in terms of romance. And I am in the mood for an engaging one. π€
His own principles though, not necessary socially agreed upon morals. But I do agree that it feels pretty ruthless…
He always did what benefitted Wonhan Retail to the extent of firing the woman he's really come to like, as that's what he has been hired to do. That's what makes sense in his head. The reason why his actions come across as extreme is because till now he has not really taken ever taken into consideration the human side of things. He never needed to as is evident from his conversation with that sweet little granny. Additionally, he admits to KMG that he's changed because of her. Also, Hee Jin being his friend added to his motivation to do so. He does seem to give in to her and he seemed to have been pretty close to Park Gi Se, if not during their time in the US but certainly after his marriage.
Wooo its too evil what he did. BSH was cold but its out of character for him to do something that immoral, he's…

It's not surprising that Baek-ho did what he did. Since the beginning we saw that he was a heartless guy who just…
