I think him being uptight was a survival mechanism, rather than his true self. Sometimes, putting on a front for a long time can make you forget the person you actually are. I totally get you. It's fun to watch something absolutely frivolous sometimes. Not always do I want to be intellectually stimulated. 😉 😂 I love how bonkers the show is. I thought I was the only one! For me, there is no chemistry, both between the ML couple and among the cast. They seem like separate entities, like bumper cars accidentally bumping into each other because of the tiny space. It's a shame, there's nothing wrong with the drama or the cast. I love romcom, yet, somehow the overall production just isn't hitting the bullseye.
