I don't really remember because it's been a while, but I watched a few episodes, those among 9-13, that I had a feeling I've seen this before.

The repeated stuff I referred to was more like episodes that felt like fillers and didn't add much to the plot but brought up some old discussions or actions already showed on the drama before. I got hard stuck on episodes 9-13, like I said before, just the beach episode saved me from being extremely bored with the drama.

I didn't even know he was an idol. OUS was his first drama I watched. He's a pretty good actor.

Is it just me or the cutesy acting from the FL is over the top?

I really don’t get the hype of this drama, nor the rating. First half was really good, I’ll give you that. But second half drags so much, it’s like they showed everything they had to show on the first 8-9 episodes (saving the beach ep which was visually stunning and somewhat entertaining), and the second half there were a lot of repeated stuff or stuff that wasn’t so meaningful/interesting. And obviously the unnecessary drama/romance that imo killed their chemistry. Idk I really wish I could at least understand a little bit of the emotion that someone who gave this drama 10/10 felt. I really think if the drama was only about the friendship, no romance and like shorter it woulda been so much better. I’m not saying this because I’m bitter about the ending, I really didn’t care about the romance at all.

idk I didnt read the webtoon. And by original I meant the audience that imo enjoy watching action dramas. Didn’t know bl fans were into action dramas that much, my apologies. And I said BL card because I thought he was doing that for marketing, that’s why “card”. Anyways no need to be rude. Like I said I don’t care either way.

Is there romance in this?

I'm kind of confused as to why the director used the BL card. I thought the audience for this drama was another one. Maybe that's why? To attract BL fans and make this even bigger? But then you're definitely going to upset the original audience, confusing. Regardless, I don't care either way, romantic connections or not. I'm interested in a 3rd season though I think they can make it better than this one.

I haven’t read the webtoon but from what you described it really seems that the director wanted to make the drama more realistic and a little bit more relatable. From what you said the webtoon is almost like a super hero setting rather than a real High School.

Is Cha Eun Woo going to the military or something? I didn't know he was in a position to deny a renowned writer as an actor. But hey, more power to him. I do not want to belittle or criticize him, but a drama written by a famous writer could boost anyone's career, and Eun Woo's career as an actor is a little bit underwhelming? The only hit drama he's done was True Beauty and, although I love it, many people seem to have disliked it.

Idk, here and on twitter I see like 80% against him. But if you go to instagram or even Allkpop it's like 80% on his side.

His parents, even worse. Also, when you quote all of that to say "That's not true" just because I mixed her parents with his but everything else was right is kind of misleading.

I feel like the more this whole thing drags, more people are siding with him and believing his lies. Recently his lawyer just “verified” a lot of photos saying they’re all from 2020 but one of him eating and drinking in his apartment with SaeRon. They said that video is indeed from jun 2018 but SaeRon parents were there too(which you can’t see or hear them) and they were just friends. Like how can people buy that? I don’t get it.
