I think it's her way of protecting him. If she gets married to him then the rumors will stop. Being gay back then…
Probably the latter. She saw an opportunity to get the guy she likes so she grabs onto it. Because if protecting the ml was her goal, she should've considered his feelings and talked to him about the arrangement. It's the least she could do as he was honest with her before.
It's hard to disobey a father's order in Joseon dynasty, plus add the fact she actually likes the man, it's better…
It makes sense because if both parties aren't in love with other people, then at least there's a possibility of developing feelings for each other over time. Imo it's a better situation than a person being trapped with someone he/she doesn't love.
17/20 Seeing fl in pain again and again is hard. I can't believe ml doesn't have a back-up plan after all those confessions. Even 2ml, who gave him a head's up eps ago, has an ACTUAL back-up plan for her. Now I'm more calm and assured when she's with 2ml and 3ml than ml himself. And yes to the queen saying the right things at the right times.
Anyways, I now understand why the writer changed the ml from a bodyguard to a scholar.
16/20 Commander Yoon's death hit me hard. I knew it's common in saeguk, still I was hoping he'd make it. The way fl clutched that ledger just like she did with her father's letter was painful. The person who protected her since day one, more than her own father, is now gone.
And I kinda expected the uncle to still be alive because his personality is someone who won't do suicide. It was suspicious that there was no proper body esp. as a royal. Even the og crown prince and king's bodies were shown.
Lastly, I find the ml's father crying at Commander Yoon's death laughable. He was the one that ordered to pursue in the first place and only said "stop" at the 3rd-4th round of the arrows. Also, him coming to fl's rescue is nothing to celebrate about. He's basically just covering up his own mess. Nowhere as heroic and honorable as Commander Yoon.
My expectations were low esp. with that awful thing called Death Note, but this is actually one of the good LA adaptations. I enjoyed watching Hana and Sota in their 3rd-4th time working together. And Miyavi is so cool.
yeah, he's quite a visual in Produce X101. Too bad he didn't reach the milestone, but sure glad to see him progressing…
I thought the same, like how godly the visual would be with his height and that mysterious aura if he was in a wuxia/xianxia. Because I've seen him in PDX but he didn't really get my attention, here the impact is different with the long hair.
And yes to the queen saying the right things at the right times.

More reason to look forward to this drama than I already do ~
