The ratio modern / historical is like 10/90 for Korean shows. Not that bad. Of course Chinese dramas have a different ratio but they are also very different to kdramas

I’m not sure how you can assert it’s rare. In Chinese dramas this is a typical plot. I see it way more than two guys chasing after the same female lead. However you are right I don’t think a second lead syndrome exists in the case of two women fighting over a guy. That’s the main difference between the two sub plots.

This is the definition of a weekend drama. It wouldn’t be one if new melodramatic things were not happening.
It’s not an extreme makjang, I’ve seen way more extreme plots

It’s quite enjoyable and actually a pretty good one in that genre.
If this is not what you like, remember dramas between 50 and 100 episodes are almost always makjang and thus you will have same type of new situations added every couple of weeks. It’s par for the course.
The kbs2 weekend drama is very well known and is usually pretty decent.

It was good and entertaining. Both leads are great. Lots of comedy.

I think it is more wishful thinking. People thought it might happen after chongzi but I also read long promise might be coming first. So who knows.

The promotional documents mention them both to find investment. It is still not clear cut but it’s a good sign for people who want them in that show.

At the end I felt I didn’t need a season 2. Because I really wanted to follow sooho and siheun. But I guess if the Webtoon is focused on the next hs, then why not. Still, i wouldn’t too distraught if season 2 wasn’t ordered. I really liked the characters so I would still watch it.

Totally out of the blue. Super happy about this. I’ve requested it on their request page a couple of times. I know it probably is just perfunctory but I still hope it works.

And Viki has added it for Europe at least.
